A PERSON IN THIS THREAD WHO IS POSTING DAILY HAS HAD THE VIRUS.   IF THEY DON'T WANT TO BE HONEST AND CONFIRM THEIR COMPUTER WAS INFECTED, THAT IS FINE BECAUSE IT WOULD HURT THE PRICE OF THE COIN.

There IS a virus that is a remote access control virus.

Need a better logo. The ones so far aren't really all that great, but all are better than what's had already. LoL.

There's some other things that need to be sorted out as well, like the linux daemon needs to not compile into litecoind, for example (/facepalm), and the qt wallet really needs to be updated to use the latest version of openssl and have upnp support so we can all connect to eachother. Some new nodes would be handy as well, and there *needs* to be a block explorer.

That's all bare minimum stuff to get anywhere at all here. There's exactly two nodes people can connect to atm, one's the official node, and the other is the exchange. That's it, unless you're not behind a firewall or haven't opened the necessary ports manually yourself.

Most coins these days just eliminate the problem by removing the ability to mine coins directly from your wallet. That function is in MCC though, so a few AV's are flagging it.

The whole  mouse moving thing is ridiculous though. No serious virus moves your mouse. I've had the mouse moving issue before myself. There's a number of possible reasons for that, and none of them are 'virus'. Does your friend use a laptop? Did they accidentally enable mouse keys? Do they use an optical mouse? Do they have mouse software installed?

Has ANYONE else had a moving mouse issue suddenly crop up after running MCC. Not me, and I've had the client running a lot, at one point I think I might have been the only one in fact.

An earlier post claims MCC Wallet affects computer mouse and therefore could truly have virus. If this is true the MCC should be rebuilt without the problem. If it's true.

What I hear is the long standing issue with almost all wallets triggering virus alerts on those scan sites. This is a long standing problem and probably due to untrusted or malfunctioning report clients participating.

Also, why link lavasoft on this one, when their product, Ad Aware, clearly shows Miley is clean in your virustotal link.

Plus, did you miss the zipcoin scandal that virustotal called clean? People had coins from all their altcoin wallets stolen on that one.

What's that mean? It means there's a shit ton of viruses out there that use miners to make money off your computer, and one of the many many ways they get flagged is with "Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT".

Btw, if you google "Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT lavasoft" you'll start to get an idea why GENERIC is there. Because there's lots of different viruses that just get chucked under the Generic!BT umbrella. Not just the poison one you happened to find and site here, which hasn't got a damn thing to do with the miner one being detected here.

Most coin related hits have been removed from major av tools. That's why ONLY 5 out of 52 av tools used by virus total detect malware here, most of which list the real culprit 'BitcoinMiner', which is EXPECTED.

Seriously, do your research properly next time. This is something that we've been dealing with in altcoins for a long, LONG, time.

Hi, if this is true the Miley Cyrus coin should be re-launched as soon as possible. In the future other Fan coins should best be checked early on. It would be unwise to allow community supported Fan Coins to be left unsupported this way

Here is the link to the major virus which is a remote access variant.  My friend mining this coin experienced mouse moving for no reason and he said he had to restart his computer to make it stop or constantly press 'esc'.

There's less than 80k coins atm. Most coins were bought at less than 2k sats. Current volume is .156btc.

@2k SATs that would mean almost 10% of the current supply got traded in a day. It took 2 weeks to mine the current supply.

That means, @2k, less than .12btc worth gets produced per day, total, and 1.6btc would buy all MCC currently in existence. Market cap @2k SATs? Currently less than $1000.

So that's actually a lot of volume for such a cheap new coin.

Did you even read the virus report? Its a btc miner 'virus'. What's that mean? It means the virus scan detected that you could mine coins with it. Stupid fudder.

Edit: 5 different antivirus tools detect the same exact thing ('bitcoin' miner. Also called 'BT'). It does NOT detect 5 different viruses as you ignorantly claim.
