40k!?!  Good grief I mined this coin for a while and didn't get anywhere near that amount.

The up side to the 40k is that some lucky buyers got an extra awesome deal.

Hi pejman632000,

hi
i buy min coin 1200 sat
but now is 463 sat
what do I do ؟
sell or hold
Can it grow?

Yeah, the price dropped a lot yesterday.
Somebody sold 40K MNC and swallowed a lot of the bids.

Thankfully, there has been increased buy support over the last 18 hours and we shouldn't have to panic very long.
I know I'm going to hold and won't sell at these prices.

What are your suggestions for the direction of the Mincoin Project?
Are there some things you want to see done to add value?

Best Regards,
-Chicago

Well I tried downloading the wallet on my work PC, I currently have the Moon and Doge Wallets going without issue, but the Mincoin wallet was outright rejected and got me reported to our MIS department.  The virus software or firewall doesn't like this wallet at all.

So that we can make some comparisons; would you kindly report the brand and version of the anti-virus software employed here.
Additionally, let us know which versions of the Moon and Doge wallets are working without issue.

Dogecoin Core v1.10.0.0 and Mooncoin Core v0.10.5.0 are what I am currently using.

We use endpoint security; not sure on the version though.

I have installed and have been using the Win32-bit  Wallet on 3 different Windows machines all running Windows7 64-bit with No issues.  Smiley

Just to add to the conversation, I'd like to point out - it would be best if nobody runs any cryptocurrency wallets on Windows XP since it has gone end-of-life a very long time ago and there are no further security updates to it.  Probably the lowest version of Windows acceptable for crypto would be Windows 7.

Does they wallet have any issues with Win 10?  I am getting ready to upgrade a few of my machines, and don't want to find and surprises.

I just walked a user through installing/upgrading his wallet on a Windows 10 machine. I did have him disable Windows Defender for the installation.
This person is fairly new to crypto and not overly 'tech savvy' but was able to upgrade/install the latest version, connect to the network, sync and complete
transactions without any issues.
My suggestion would be to make sure you have backups of your wallet.dat before you install on a new OS and you might also have to turn off the
Windows Defender application.
Please report back and let us know how things go for you.

Hi , I still would like to know how will be distributed the coins to bounty? How much coins we will receive after the bounty and then how many coins and at what lying, thank you. On the website I have read and not really understood it.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking here? Were you looking into offering services/support of some kind in exchange for a MinCoin bounty?

FYI this is a bot which posts generic text. If you look at the post history you can see a clear pattern. anryze is also a bot.

Thanks for the heads-up almightyruler!
I did not take the time to look at the user's post history!

Hi Anryze,

Right now we're securing our wins from the September 28th hard fork and v0.8.8 code release and spreading the good word.
This includes making translations on Bitcoin Talk's local boards; becoming relisted with exchanges, pools and service providers as well as making connections with new and old team members.

We are going to proceed further with additional software updates on the 0.10 branch and provide deeper insight into our roadmap and development agenda with an upcoming whitepaper.
It is still early enough to get in before there aren't many MNC available.

Download the new wallet today at www.mincoin.us

Hi ride22,

I used to mine MinCoin back in 2014, and still have my old wallet.  Where is the Win 64 bit version of the new wallet?  I am only seeing the 32 bit version on the website to download.

This build of the Mincoin wallet is based on the 0.8 branch of Bitcoin which provides the win32 installers through the Gitian build system.
The 32-bit build will work just fine on your 64-bit Windows system.

We'll have an explicit 64-bit Windows installer on one of the newer branches following a development cycle.

Best Regards,
-Chicago
