Hi Rossen,

    That's very curious indeed.
    Please use the releases and bootstrap.dat available from GitHub and try one more time.
    We literally have dozens of users who have successfully verified the chain with txindex=1 who have been following our Full Node Tutorial.

    I too run with txindex=1 in my mincoin.conf for an ABE instance and didn't run into issues at height 639479.

Code:
{

}

Best Regards,
-Chicago

Thanks a lot! I hope that this bootstrap will help, I have my own prepared, but issue the same bug.

Hello dev team,

I have problem to reindex the database with -txindex enabled. The process dies at block  639479, last accespted block is  639478. in the debug log:
 ERROR: ProcessBlock() : block with too little proof-of-work
Mincoin version 0.8.8.0

Any suggestions?

I want it  to make more stable and fast the Block Explorer, but \i will re-run the build again without txindex

Best Regards,
Rossen

Are there only 10 millions coins ?
A majority of the coins are already out there.  Do a quick search on the coin.

There will only ever be 10 million mincoins.
Right now there are only 4.1 million mincoins.

There are only 2 MNC produced per minute and a total of 2,880 MNC per day.

The majority of the coins will be mined over the next 5-6 years.

This is my old wallet. What next? Do i need to upgrade? I believe i have a password which i probably dont remember anymore. Are my coins gone forever? Thanks    https://imgur.com/a/Zw61E

Save the existing wallet.dat to a backup location.

Upgrade immediately to v0.8.8 because the old client is not compatible with the current network protocol.

Remember your password.

So I remember this coin way back when I got into crypto being traded in mcxnow and to see it still around is amazing, I recently joined the discord channel, mined a bit today on the dutch site and gotta say the experience has been awesome. Check it out for yourselves and see why mincoin is a major player in crypto currency!  Cool

MNC transactors would have to choose to be transparent if they put info on Bitcoin's blockchain via originstamp... they I wonder how they can keep documents between one,two or more parties only... or would that happen naturally because only two parties would have the hashes?

Essentially I'm asking if there's a privacy version of the originstamp website for Mincoin...

Also, to clarify; the Mincoin info can get stored on the Bitcoin blockchain; is that the intention of the originstamp website?

Thanks !
