dont think you can mine this coin, the mining is on the smart contract so if you have you apply for a genesi address you can mine 1,84 coin per day!

The error you are having now is "Out of gas" error, this is because the gas you used for the transaction was too low.

Instead of 50000 put a gas limit of 400000 and it will work.

But if you don't have an account genesis with 32 000 MNE i think it's not possible.

Awesome news came out from dev's side today about MNE to be added to at least 2 exchanges soon. Once testing goes well and code review is done by exchanges we will see it coming into existence. It will be other thing once people will begin to see as option for trading and limited supply soon will make it worth much more.
