Stick with the 1000 first adresses as announced !!!! That was the Airdrop rule.
Noone was supposed to enter his adress after 1000.

You wrote only long after 2000 adresses were entered, that you will try to accept the extra adresses but reality is that it is not possible as you planned.
Moreover, you will have more genuine adresses, because everyone starts with his real IP and adresse, and only after they can develop fake means.
You can be sure that the longer the list, the more fake adresses there are.

If people whine now after saying that is :
- either because they were late.
- or because they have fake adresses and they will lose hours of industrially faking IPs. they don't want a fair distribution.

This is also acceptable.

Where is this announcement rule that only 1000 first ETH address will be accepted, because i must have miss this. I was following this thread since day 1 and the only announcement i remember is that the airdrop is available to everyone and address collection will be open for 24 hours and that only all address collected within 24 hours will be accepted. Please anyone kindly show me this post.

Our website already prevented addresses from the same IP, all addresses submitted were from different IPs.

We don't want to let anyone out, so we are working on a solution and we will update soon.

IP is easy to fake. Bitcointalk user name less so. And the initial plan was for 1000 addresses. You will not be letting anyone out but you will be letting many people in more than one time.

Anyway, it's up to you

I don't think it would be fair for all those who participated, specially the last ones.

Our first approach was to do it here in bitcointalk but as the moderators deleted our Genesis Address Collection thread, we didn't have much options in the short run.

Of course IP can be faked (proxies, etc.), but finally all can be faked, even here in bitcointalk one person can hold multiple accounts.

To be fair to everyone, we will make sure that all the valid submitted addresses will be included.

You can simply ask to resubmit addresses and they should come from same IP again. The fake ones will fail to do so and can be filtered.
Also, to be fair with participants, who have dynamic IP, you can whitelist their wallet according to their request ( if someone will try to whitelist 50 addresses of "his friends" you can assume that he is very friendly or... Smiley  ).

you obviously dont know how dhcp or how 4Glte or 3G network use their distributed ip's. on most home networks the dhcp can change their ip upto a frequency of onece every 12 hours. and depending on the sub contracts of their ISP they can be assigned a 12 hour contract that is completly outside of the ip range used  the day before or even less. 4Glte normally used on mobile phones and hot spot devices for laptops can change their ip a couple of times every 15 minutes or so! and the same applies to their IP range, 3G is normally only on mobile /cell phones and this can change 3/4 times an hour with the same ideas of changing the IP range, so if you would ask people to resubmit on the same ip only very few as myself "static IP  where mine cannot and will not change the IP " could claim our tokens , all the others would not be able to claim and their ip and their range change frequently and they have no control over them...

hmm... "Also, to be fair with participants, who have dynamic IP, you can whitelist their wallet according to their request ( if someone will try to whitelist 50 addresses of "his friends" you can assume that he is very friendly or... Smiley  ). "
BTW, I also have same problem solution to which I proposed in second sentence.

i also agree with this. the first announcement was very well understood and if all the others simply tried to jump in then they already knew they would not be part  as per the original announcment

I say what has been done is done, and it seems to have been done well.

Dev great job, do not waste time and go ahead with development .

The revolutionary trading ecosystem
i had many friends sign up and in the last few days ;several told me that they used their address from one of the exchanges... how would they recover the tokens?

That means they have burnt their tokens if those exchanges don't support and trade Minereum tokens, but if they do they can write their support team to recover the tokens

Create 3 or 4 blocks to include addresses. That's simple. If you re do all address collection process again, it will make you lose your valuable time on the Minereum development. Every airdrop has some flaws that can't be rectified. Don't take too much concern on airdrop. Focus on development.

Cheaters can cheat at anywhere and at any stage.

So stick with your rules and go ahead.

Deploy the Smart Contract as early as possible to stop these controversies.

Once this stage is processed, we all can concentrate on Promoting the coin and Listing on exchanges.

Test are now completed and Smart Contract is ready

Hi Everyone,

The tests are now completed and the Smart Contract is ready.

Here is the source code: https://github.com/minereum/Minereum/blob/master/minereum.sol

However since we got more addresses than expected and since they are supposed to be hardcoded in the source code, we are now facing the issue that the Smart Contract is too big to be deployed on the etheruem network (Aprox. 1.4 MB), we were not predicting this issue in the beginning as we never deployed such a big Smart Contract.

Ethereum network limitations can be seen here: https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/1106/is-there-a-limit-for-transaction-size

We are exploring other ways of distributing the tokens and we will come back soon with a solution.

Stay tuned for more updates!

How about split this contract to two or three separate contracts. Is it impossible?
Or maybe any owner  should sent small amount of Eth to your contract and this way can you don't save addresses in contract? (As ICO contracts do).
It just ideas, maybe it's not working, I know nothing about Eth programming.

Thank you sir for the Airdrop. I was following crypto for a few months now but never bothered to register here on bitcointalk. I was compelled to register now for the reason that you will limit the airdrop on forum users. I am happy that this will not be the case.

You could ask to bitcointalk users to declare their addresses.... Only one address for every user, and of course not to users registered in the last hours. This metod will limit possibility that users register with multiple addresses, and i bet that the 4000 addresses will reduce so much.

Just my two cents.
this will be the best way , this is more fair , there is many people have more than 1 address.
