Yes why to pay for technicians you guys should pay them and add that cost in purchase of mining power.

You do understand this is virtual mining right?  While the idea behind converting virtual Bitcoin in the game into real Bitcoin is a large aspect of the game, the reality is, I don't think this is to be considered anything more than a game - granted a very expensive game if you don't want to grind and grind and grind to "level" up.  Ultimately, I think the objective is to get huge ROI, and from that perspective, I think people are going to look at this as more of an investment than a simulation, but I think you have to look at games like this (keeping in mind its still early in production) on the same level as say Planet Calypso - a game that also has an in game economy that is capable of rewarding some players with profits (that can actually be withdrawn) and some other players with just virtual products that they purchase for a perpetual loss.

I think technicians are just an upgrade in the game to provide an extra layer of strategy.

I mean, sure MinerFarm could remove the technician "upgrade" and even bury the cost into the virtual mining hardware along with increased maintenance fees, but I think it'd be taking away an aspect of the game that is designed to provide a bit more complexity.  Instead of simply having a game where you "buy miner to get a fixed X return on investment", I think the creator is trying to make this into more of a "Bitcoin Mining Tycoon" game where you have to put thought into what you buy and when you buy it and why you buy it...

Why i need by or rent technicians if every day i pay for mainteance? i think we pay twice for same service.
Technicians are responsible for optimum operation of devices. They repair broken devices and increase their productivity. Each technician decreases the repairing time by 50%. For maintenance and repairing of devices, you should hire at least 1 technician.

I'm still so confused by this! Someone should do a Youtube video or a proper FAQ  Huh

I have absolutely zero relationship the Miner Farm website other than a member, but I have a pretty good concept of how it works and am a Bitcoin Altcoin miner with a small Gridseed farm in real life.  That said, I'll try and do a proper FAQ on their official forum...at least as best I can from what I know.

It's not that hard to figure out, as long as you know the basics of bitcoin mining, lol. If you don't understand the basics of bitcoin mining, you shouldn't even be playing virtual mining games.

[New Feature] Technician Hiring System

Now you can hire out your technicians to other players.
Hiring period is 1 hour and during that period, players who hired the technician can repair their miners.

Rules:
1. When the hiring period is over, technicians turn back to original owners. If there is an ongoing repair, it is interrupted.
2. If you have devices in the repair process, you cannot hire out your technicians.

Cool  Cool My technician is the best on MinerFarm!  Cool

This game is just another fancy ponzi scheme. Don't waste your money in it . Just like cryptospot no real mining is involved the money generated is by ads and revenue by the new investors.

You are a newbie member and try to judge a well known member, aliser.  Roll Eyes I will not judge you but I only think it is strange.

Everybody knows Alisers and his(or her) projects before. If he wants to build a ponzi, i think he will not choose to make it by the name of Aliser. Open a Newbie account ( like you ), and announce new service.

Every bitcoin project or service has this "trust" problem at first. But in time people see which one is true and which one is wrong for investing or mining. And lots of people knows that you can trust Aliser and his projects.

So before decide "this is scam" or "ponzi" wait for a while. If someone says "he steal my money and go away" then ok. You are right.

Thank you.

I hope you are all  right  i can only wish you good luck with your game and you all make some money  Smiley .
Personally i think I'll pass this one

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
For instance, if I was so inclined, I could open a pool with zero fees and generate a massive following and monopoly of users.  At this point, it just seems like "here's a list of pools, and everyone joins the cheapest one".

Kind of like RL.

Not really...because in real life there is more to pools than fees, but In the game, comparing pools consists only of fees.  In real life, I have lots of options for mining pools, including some with low, low fees, but I choose one with fees because their features justify it.  In the game, every pool has the same general feature set.

In real life, sure pools can come along and undercut fees, but there's so much more to it than fees in real life.

Pools in real life can have forums and unique features or generate income in other ways, like advertising.  So a pool in real life might say, we don't have any fees, but then put in ads to subsidize.  Or pools in real life can expand to new coins or mutlicoin scripts.

All I'm suggesting is that if pools in the game are going consist of comparing merely fees, I think to entice more investors into the game, there needs to be a way of controlling users coming and just spending .05BTC to run a pool with zero fees for the hell of it.

It remains to be seen if there is any kind of marketing advantage to running a pool on MinerFarm.  So far I have not seen any additional users to NastyPool in real life, so I assume the advantages are most likely not worth the ongoing fees.  You never know though...  As we march towards lower fees and increased pool competition, I am curious how things will pan out.

NastyPool is once again the lowest fee pool in MinerFarm.

Oh. Seems you bought the script.

Because look this site: http://hexhash.ml/

It's a mix from Minerfarm and RDPMain.

Minerfarm owner runs ponzi scheme?
why is there no response to this?

Hi there, there was no response because I never thought someone is serious about asking such a question Smiley But I guess it is normal since everybody should not have to be into coding world.

All the script, database, back end are coded by me. For the front end, it is an open source and free Bootstrap theme. Anyone who has coded the backend script can use it for free, it is just the skin. But the body is home-made Wink

game owner is a well known user among the forum and has more than 10 faucets. None of them had any payment issues so far.

That's mean nothing  . xPooky the owner of cryptospot was also a very active user. Later don't say i didn't warn you  Smiley

Being and active member is not the same as owning many known services. If Minerfarm closes, bunch of faucets owned by aliser also loose reputation. Which is a risk that no one can take.
