This looks really simple to get people mining and a really slick UI well done!

If anyone is struggling getting a miner up and running try this first. Smiley

Seems to take forever to figure out what my card is, and i have a 7970.

Does ist just take long, or doesnt it get displayed at all?

It takes sometimes up to 10-15 seconds, a fix is on the way on the next update.

it doesnt display anything whatsoever

Thats really strange. Ive tested it on serveral systems and it worked.

Which OS do you use?

I don't seem to understand what to do with the Series field  Grin
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M was detected, and thats what's written in the Series field too, what else do I need to add? (not sure what series means  Roll Eyes)
Thanks for the help and the nice tool!

Hey!

The Series field only needs to be modified if you use an AMD card.

But I saw which problem occured there, 9400M is an mobile GPU Chip, only Desktop-GPU-Cards are supported.

Sorry I should have pointed it out on the Mainpost.

But thanks for mentioning it!

Hey!

Iam ChekaZ from the Feathercoin Community. I've written a MiningTool for Feathercoin a few weeks ago.

What is it?

MinerX is an automated MiningTool for newbies. Its Java based (Yes you need Java to use it) and its combinated with SGminer.

This MiningTool does only support Desktop GPUs, so no mobile GPUs are supported.

The only thing you need to put in is your Feathercoin-/DogeCoinAddress and if you use an AMD card, the last two digits of your cardname (Fix is on the way).

Example:

Lets say "Getting Grafik Card Series.." reads out AMD Radeon HD 7900, you need to change the last two digits in "Waiting for Series" to 7970 or 7950 or whatever 7900 card you have.

How to use it:

Download the MinerX from below and execute the .jar.

Source: https://github.com/totenfluch/minerx

Here is the download link with the complete packed MinerX:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31024229/MinerX_Alpha_3.1.rar    (updated 12.12.2014)
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31024229/MinerX_Alpha_3.02.rar  (updated 22.10.2014)

Single download of the .jar:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31024229/MinerX_Alpha_3.1.jar    (updated 12.12.2014)
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31024229/MinerX_Alpha_3.03.jar  (updated 10.11.2014)

If you only download the .jar you need to put it next to your SGminer folder which should be named "Neosgminer".

NOTE: MinerX_Alpha_xx needs to be located in a local HOME folder & next to the "Neosgminer" Folder, otherwise MinerX may not be able to fetch Grafikcard information.

Drivers:

The new MinerX Version 3.1 is running SGminer which is able to execute XIntensity. To run this without any HW-Errors you need to have AMD 14.6 RC2 Drivers installed.

CardSupport:

https://github.com/Totenfluch/minerx/blob/master/MinerX/src/me/MinerX/Specs.java

Not all Speccs are completely optimized! If you got any improvements, let me know!

Feedback appreciated. I hope you like it.
