Mine isnt syncing either neither is my karma wallet or corgi wallet.

Anyone know of any fixes that arent exactly wallet related? Like port to allow through firewall etc etc

Just installed wallet-v11 and a new config file, now it synces just fine.

EDIT 1: It took about 10 minutes before the sync started, just had to be patient.

Good to know, It would not be good for a coin as promising as this to come to a grinding halt.

On a side note, I was in the garden yesterday, noticed how far my mint plants had spread out since last year.

No Mintcoin does not have such problem, because Mintcoin retargets diff every block. It uses Peercoin-like algorithm which I think is simpler than gravity well and does the same thing. Apparently Kimoto did not know the arts of the algorthms, so he tried to re-invent the same wheel.

save your config file as "all files" not txt!

I believe it is already implemented, diff was switching around nicely when I was mining mint yesterday.

If you use the latest addnodes in the OP, you should sync.

Question , Fedoracoin just had a major problem with a Multipool driving up the difficulty, then switching away.
This has left them in a sticky place until they implement Kimotos Gravity Well in approx 200 blocks.

Does Mint have any protection from having the same thing happening?


And if any of you has some spare hashing power, they would appreciate a little help getting though the last few blocks.
