You don't need to create an account to be able to buy Mirabox. It is protected by a password, which is not stored on Mira servers, and multisig verification to make sure only you have the access. Then it's down to you to protect it, as it is with any cold storage solutions. However, you can always change your password at miralab.io if you think it has been compromised.

A MiraBox ID is set in the very beginning in order to easily distinguish files (for example 8817CA339F).
Mira content indicator records data for open MiraBoxes with one kind of cryptocurrency for convenience (0.1BTC).
File name will be 8817CA339F-0.1BTC.MIRA
