What is the use case for this coin - is it like doge except it is a monkey..... i don't get it

we updated our Announcement to be ready for the Masternode Release coming this week.

We know it took us way longer then expected but to help you guys understand the problematic we faced I will try to explain it to you in some short sentences:

We started with the Idea of implementing Masternodes back in January. The major Problem we saw was that we dont want to do a Coinswap like 99% of other Cryptocurrencies. We wanted to show and proove that also standard Proof of Stake coins can be merged with up to date databases and technologies used by the most common Masternode forks.
Because of this our Team started first tests if there is any possiblity to merge an old, crappy database/chain with a 2018 standard Masternode fork. After one month we implemented our chain into a Masternode fork but the whole construct was far away from stable. We tested and improoved over more then 3 months to guarantee a stable Masternode function in combination with an old chain that kept moving day for day.

Now, at the beginning of June, we finaly got a status everyone is comfortable with. We will now prepare the Rollout of 2.1 Wallets making use of the new technology.

We achieved something never done before in crypto universe and allowed our users an update to a Masternode wallet from a standard PoS coin without performing any Coinswap or Chainreset.

is clear, the MN were announced months ago and always postponed, the bitcoin and MONK price has dropped 10 times, so that as an early investor has looked through his fingers, now then run extremely many MN, which cut the ROI together Why many have invested in the beginning .. can only wait

Thx dude, it seems i staked on a blockchain in an other universe. i executed repairwallet and deleted the blockchain and backups and so on.
Downloaded everything through my wallet again and i`m synced. in the transaction history the stakes are now marked as orphans, but my balance counts that orphan stakes in. How can i fix that? repairwallet doesn`t work :/

Guys go into console and type getblockhash then enter the hash into the explorer if it doesn’t match you need to do a full resync....come and join us on discord for technical support

I did the exact same thing - sent some to cryptopia, but never received at cryptopia. Also have many confirmations in wallet. Sent around 3 days ago.

Guys, i have sent yesterday some monk to cryptopia but they are not shown in my wallet on cryptopia. i also find nothing about the tx id on the block explorer. it seems that the $Monks are not on the blockchain but my wallet says they are sent with 369 confirmations. what to do?

We will put Exchanges into Maintenance today to prepare our Masternode Release.

We are performing last tests today, stability seems to be given. Rewarding also works.

Once Cryptopia & Bridge is put into Maintenance we will announce the Block we are going to Fork the Nodes to. We will prepare Tutorials and Scripts in the next days to allow users to setup their Nodes without any time pressure.

There will be new Wallet releases of Version 2.1 and those are ofcourse Mandatory which means you have to update before the forked Block. Please update in time so we dont have so many old Wallets on the Network trying to stake.

Can you provide proof of your words? Because I have not seen similar successes with other participants. I expect information from you if you attend this benefit

Are there any problems known? i have sended some $Monk 2.5 hours ago to cryptopia. They are not shown there, when i watch in block explorer i can`t find the transaction
