I don't understand the whining or the talk of orphans. I have been mining since it was released (had some issues syncing but someone in IRC helped me) and I've gotten some coins.

It's pretty clear that one pool has a ton of hash power at it, and the other pool has essentially none.

Solo mining is effective. Why do people expect pool mining to work perfectly on launch of a coin when the difficulty is tiny? Not to mention a coin that is NOT a fork of Bitcoin. Stop being lazy and solo mine - it's better for the network anyway.

Now, let's move onto something productive. Time to start promoting the innovations of this new protocol. We will soon be on at least one exchange.

Agreed, I snagged a few blocks soloing.

The pool everyone is complaining about also has an inordinate amount of orphans for Monero.

The protocol on this coin is great, and I'm hoping to see it on an exchange soon.

Made a quick and dirty logo until someone has the time to make a better one...

No love for the logo!?  At least add it to the main post.

I excepted orphans with the low target time but this is extreme, I believe something is wrong the coin/daemon, need to wait until dev returns to get some answers.

Is this the correct syntax for solo mining to a wallet on a different computer?
mountcoind.exe --start-mining=ADDRESS --mining-threads=8
When I type help in the daemon, it looks like it wants something slightly different. I just want to be sure I'm sending rewards to my address and not wasting hash.

@33zer0w0lf, sorry to hear about the trouble with the pool config. I'm looking forward to jumping in when the coin dev works it out with you.

I've picked up about 20 blocks so far solo mining. 5kh. Most of those were shortly after launch though.
