I see two different thing on the web page.

Add a CONFIGURATION FILE ("monetaryunit.conf") to your MUE Blockchain Directory

This step will assist syncing of your wallet.

1. Create a new file in the MUE Blockchain Directory (i.e. the default on Windows is something like:  C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\MonetaryUnit) and name it "monetaryunit.conf" or "mue.conf"

Files in the directory are:

File: monetaryunit.conf (NB. this file is included in this DECEMBER 2016 Snapshot).

2. Open the file with a Text Editor and add the following line of code to it and save the file: addnode=192.241.223.227 updated to 5.196.208.248

3. Open your MonetaryUnit (MUE) Wallet and sync your blockchain.

In addition, the most important thing would be the usability of the coin, so that it would survive for the long term. The fact that MUE has a great community and development team, is one of the many things that I admire about it.

As a loyal supporter of MUE, I'll do the best I can to help promote it to the masses. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward for more exciting news like these.

A great team effort in getting the pool up and running, miners are sure to appreciate the reduced fees! Is the plan to keep the 0% fee throughout the X11 transition as well?

Perhaps I am currently downloading too many other blockchains, still doesn't want to connect for me.  Will give her a try tomorrow after these others finish catching up.  What I get for not firing up none of my wallets for a year lol.

Just wanted to give you an update on the launch of muex.io and the x11 migration.

The plan is still to launch muex.io first, and then concentrate on the x11 migration.

We've had the usual "issues" affecting timelines, not least "real life".

There were issues with our previous server and the hosting provider.
We moved the data and services to a temporary VPS.
A dedicated server has now been sourced (5tb, 64gb, multi-cores etc etc) and we are going to start the process of moving data, services and apps over to this server next week.
In fact, our official pool www.weminemue.com has already moved over, hence the pool fees are now 0%

Instead of delaying the launch of www.MUEX.io for all services and apps to be live and active first, we will instead launch asap with the apps and services as they become available to launch (maybe as early as next week (no promises)).

Without going into detail, it may be we start with just a single simple service/app, and gradually add them as they are migrated to the new server, tested, launched etc.

That said, there will be some concurrent work on both muex and the x11 migration once muex.io is "live".

So, apologies for the delays. Hard work continues and intentions remain.
