i noticed the website is still down.  i can help you with that if you need some assistance.
Hey, thanks for the offer, much appreciated.

The site needs removing from the black list if you know how to do that? (I haven't had a chance to look into it).
I believe we are going to use a django based site when it comes back, rather than wordpress to avoid the issue we ran into.

wow. The Monetary Unit (MUE | http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monetaryunit/) logo looks good!

Portdavenport Wink
If you mean the logo above, then that's not the new MUE logo.
It's for one of our multiple side projects called MUEX Wink

Nice, I see things are getting wrapped up as we are getting closer to the X11 launch. Great work team!

Just a quick update regarding the X11 migration.

We can now compile Linux & Linux QT wallets with no errors.

The Windows QT wallet was having issues with the daemons connecting & we appear to have resolved that now and it compiles.

We are working on the gitian build so that we can compile all versions for all OSs.  This is in end stage.

So, progress continues and we get ever closer to releasing for the public Beta testing.

Thanks again for your patience & support Smiley

Thanks for the exciting news. I have bought plenty of cheap MUE to prepare for the grand moment when MUE announces its migration. The masternodes feature will definitely bring great traction towards MUE, and I think that we will have many new investors that will help make the price reach its peak status.

By the way, it would be great to have an Android wallet similar to the one that TransferCoin has, in order to setup masternodes right from within your mobile device. Maybe this is too much to be considered for development, but it is just a suggestion.

Looking forward for that new and exciting wallet release!  Cheesy

Sounds really good bizzyb, can't wait to start the beta testing!
I do assume that there will be clients for Linux/OSX/Windows? Any plans for docker images or virtual machine appliances as well?
I am not sure, but can the client/daemon run well under FreeBSD? There used to be build instructions for Unix, although I don't know if they are valid or just a leftover template from the BTC repository.
Once our gitian build is sorted that will allow us to do all the usual compiles.
We'll then automate builds from github commits using Travis so the binaries are always synced with the actual repository.

Docker images, Azure auto builds etc are also planned in post release.

I can't comment right now about FreeBSD or build instructions, hopefully these will also be addressed shortly after migration.

Cheers

B

The MUE team has bought all rights to the pool www.weminemue.com
We will bring it into our systems hopefully next week and the pool fee will be 0%.
That's right, nada, nothing, zero!
Smiley

I'm glad to hear that a settlement was made to keep the pool running! Maybe we can suggest some new features to the pool? I read you guys were looking into a better block explorer, that would be nice. Maybe a comparison for stats between the pool and the network? That is hashtate of the pool vs MUE network, how about email notification if a miner goes offline?

I'm sure others have suggestions and feature requests so I though to post here, and others may add to the discussion.

Market danger delist, need more volume Smiley

Low volume is the the mechanism for filtering out coins that are not performing.

MUE needs more communication and action to avoid loss of confidence. Come on guys, let's rock and roll.

BITTREX as at October 26, 2016 AEST GMT +10:00 hrs |

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-MUE

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Friday, October 28th 2016 unless the average daily trade volume for the last 14 days exceeds 0.3 BTC. If you would like to keep the market listed, please encourage the development team to contact us at [email protected]. If you have questions about the policy, please see https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583874

PS. What's the game plan? Or what can DEV / Community do? Thoughts... Ideas?

The low volume on trex is a symptom of the delays, which is understandable.
I've e-mailed trex about our plans, PM'd them in Slack, and posted in the Slack channel.
Volume has picked up and we have engaged with them, one would hope they would make the pragmatic decision and keep us listed.

We are at the very near end game of the new X11/MN wallets.
We are experiencing some issues compiling, which is occuring at the very late stages of the compile process.
As you can see from our github https://github.com/muecoin/monetaryunit-x11 plenty has and is being done.
We just need to tweak these last few gremlins.

Again, I'm sorry for the delays, we are just people trying to fit into our spare time to make this project a success, and with most things, there are always little obstacles that get in the way.
We're just in the process of kicking the hell out of them to move them Smiley

Thanks for your continued support, it is sincerely appreciated.

what compilation issues are you experiencing ...

id be interested in having a go also ...

Baikal mini miner, mining Quark at ~151.8 MH/s using 24.9 W from the wall.
Temp of miner 26 C.

Time since restart, about 5 minutes.

How does the temperature change after 1 hour?

Unless the ambient temp in the room drastically goes up, the miner stays cool and rarely goes up more than a degree or two. It runs really stable in terms of hashrate, fanspeed and temperatures. Quite frankly, it is a really great little miner.
