It's caused by an error in the Bittrex API which we are waiting for them to fix.
You can create a web wallet from www.MUEwallet.com or download an android wallet.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Now the web site gives error - "Could not connect to Insight Server"....
darn!
Server probably just needs a reboot..I've reported it to our dev.

The initial error with the software wallets is fine now btw, or you can download the Android app too Smiley

the mac software wallet is not working
OK, I've asked for it to be tested and also a new compile to be made by a 3rd party.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll get back to you.

Hi, I've been mining MUE for a week now, and I'm excited to see this currency take off!

A few questions:
1) I was able to successfully download the windows and OS X versions of MonetaryUnit-QT, but neither of these seem to mine. Was this feature removed?
2) My mining pool tells me that with my hash rate being around 600kH/s, I should be mining about 100,000 MUE per day. Something is off because I am only mining about ~500 MUE per day. What are other people getting per kH?
3) I'm working on a build of minerd-quark for OSx as I'm unable to find one out there. Has anyone else found an OSx miner? Any interest if I can get this build optimized?

Last (4), coinwarz.com issued a potential warning about MUE citing a possible fork. Can anyone explain why they did this? I do have some MUE in my online wallet (muewallet.com) that I transferred to another wallet, and they seem to be stuck. Whenever I re-broadcast them I get an error - "Transaction could not send. Please try again." Unrelated?

Hi, welcome to the forum, and thanks for supporting the project.
1) Yes this feature was removed.  It was causing too many false negative alerts on antivirus etc and to reduce putting people off the decision was made to exclude in wallet mining.
2) About 86,400 MUE are mined per day - so your share will be = networkhashrate/yourhashrate x 86400.
I would expect you would mine about 1000 per day ish
3) Not sure about this sorry.
4) We recently migrated to a totally new version of code based on the Bitcoin core 0.10.  Since this change difficulty has been reported differently & significantly lower than historic figures, and it's likely this change which has flagged to them.  Once it has become the "norm" things should be in order again.
If you've lost any coins PM me and I'll get you sorted.

Well glad I'm not the only one getting this error that everyone else is. I got mine right after I tried to encrypt my wallet. My question now is can I get my wallet back if I can get it to work again?

wallet is not affected, it's pure gui glitch, if urgent just block bittrex.com by firewall or os dns rules
then launch the wallet and see everything safe and sound

OK all do that when I get home ty for fast reply all post back if it works or not

tried blocking bittrex using /etc/host the application still wont launch

I've updated the OP and www.MonetaryUnit.org with the links to the latest wallet downloads.
Sorry for the delays on getting that done Smiley

Also, we could do with getting rid of all those none 70003 protocol wallets
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mue/#!network
So if you haven't updated, please do.

The mac wallet link gives a 404 error
Good spot, thanks.  Fixed.

upon install the wall cannot be opened..it tells me its damaged and cannot be opened

possible block chain fork reported by coinwarz
Our dev Upgradeadvice recently released a totally revamped codebase of the wallet migrating it to the 0.10 Bitcoin core code.
During that process it appears the way difficulty is shown on various explorers and mining calculators has changed and I think it is that which has flagged something on coinwarz site.
As locus says, forks happen, but resolve.
Welcome to the forums

thanks for the welcome and reassurance that the fork will be resolved  Grin

possible block chain fork reported by coinwarz

Coinwarz spead this kinda shit all the time they are a joke of a news resource
Nah, they're not spreading shit I don't think, just the change in diff has flagged on their system as if there was a fork or something...
It'll probably clear once this new way of indicating the diff becomes "normal".
