Just a heads up, there will be a delay migrating the MUEcasino.com games over to the new wallet (our game coder has gone AWOL )

I thought this was interesting, it shows how quickly the rate of inflation of MonetaryUnit will slow down over time.
Hopefully, with your support, and increased adoption, and the healthy organic growth of MUE, this indicates a good future growth in the price.

Certainly the big drop in inflation over the next year shows it could be a potentially fantastic time to buy MUE (currently 12 sats)

What do you have to do?
Backup and save your wallet.dat file BEFORE you upgrade to the new wallet.
We will release the wallet links on Saturday.
Once you have upgraded, REPLACE the existing wallet.dat with your backup version.

As discussed, this is to address the issue which makes sending large volumes of MonetaryUnit quite a headache.
The value you can send continues to decrease, making it very frustrating, reducing the usability of the coin, and putting off potential new comers to MUE.

Also of course, the new wallet has a fantastic new design, allows in-wallet pool mining, and QR codes.

Please help support the transition by mining to muepool.com or goldmin.es which will both be updated to the new wallet.

MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE 5PM UTC 31/1/2015 - DETAILS TO FOLLOW

The new wallet will address the maximum transaction size limitation which has increasingly become a nuisance to move large volumes of MonetaryUnit.
Please help by spreading the word, and pointing your hash rate to the new wallet at 5pm UTC on Saturday 31st January.

It also has a great looking UI, in-wallet pool mining & QR code generator.

A notice period and time scales will be given for the launch of this new wallet in due course.

It will go smooth, and there will be minimal impact as long as we all work together, and communicate effectively.

As it is a mandatory update to address the transaction issues, all previous wallets will be invalid with the new wallet system.

The MUE blockchain prior to the new wallet release will of course still be valid from the point of view of your past transactions, and coin balances, so no concerns there.

Final build and testing is underway, and as soon as I have a date for you all I will make it well known through all media channels (here, Twitter, FaceBook, CryptocoinTalk etc).

We will likely give a 7-14 day pre-announcement for all users and will of course be notifying & updating the pools and exchanges,block explorers etc.

keep the good work MUE.I think that people begin to trust in MUE coin and it's reflected in the price at all exchanges now.
Hope we will see MUE used in daily stuff after all developements and fixes reaches high levels.

We're just finalising the new, single, unified wallet
Fixes the "transaction too large" issue and also a few other minor gripes, plus looks great.
Will let you know as soon as it is tested and released.
This will be a mandatory update due to the transaction issue fix.

Miners always persue the max profit.
Mining MUE now can not earn back the half of the power fee.

Don't get too fixated with price though..with the age of the coin, and low volume of trade, the price is prone to volatility.
Give it time to mature and we will all hopefully see a good return, and a stable (within reason for a crypto) price.
What the coin needs most is a decent hash rate, so please do point any hash rate you can spare, even if it is a single CPU thread will help

0.12 BTC will clear all sell orders on C-CEX and you get set buy orders for 0.00000018 and immediately increase the MUE price 6 fold to 18 sats.
There is very little market depth, and it is VERY easy to change the price if you wanted to.

All that aside.  If you are with MonetaryUnit, then you are in for the long haul.
This is a long term project, not short term profit project.
