great team. I'm looking to invest in this project because the team seems very strong.
I pay 60$ per year for private internet access VPN already. If mysterium network becomes successful, i'm definitely going to switch over.

I'd like some bullet points with differences with TOR for the end-user.
All its says in the white paper is that nodes are not rewarded in TOR. that's not exactly they reason as why to rewrite the whole thing right?
Also there is TorCoin which is scammy but has the same idea.
I am just curious, not criticizing.

TOR project, neither Torcoin has no where near the same idea.
The thing about Mysterium is simple. It connects people who would like to sell their additional internet bandwidth, with the ones would want to mask their own internter traffic. There are no centralized authorites that controls this traffic. Therefore, your traffic is completely safe.
Torcoin aims to create a anon coin, thats all.
On the other hand, we all know what is wrong with TOR itself. The FBI already cracked it and it is nearly impossible to access any website without waiting so long. I myself have been enable to watch even Youtube videos. VPN is something different, you kinda keep using your internet with the nearly the same speed your router provides. And you can actually do anything with VPN active. Not just browsing. With everything you do related to internet, your IP would be masked.

Good idea and good team always available at all question that I and other people made, This project isn't like more other project that are copied by old and functionalitys projects, this project offer an innovation and a service like decentralized VPN that is useful for people and with this service people can approach to the new tecnologies of blockchain.
I do see innovation within the project, the team is definately trying something that's never been done before but hey their doing a good job so far. Can't wait for the ICO.

WOW. 272 nodes online this morning. The highest we have seen so far. We just need more people to try out the client. Can someone post instructions on how to use it with windows? Because someone said in slack it was possible.
Also its been confirmed on slack that you can have multiple nodes with same email address, so just make sure you enter different IP each time.

u can also apply for signature campaign aswell as blog post campaign. node bounty is not the only option but it is damn fun indeed. I already have multiple nodes running.
for everyone having problems, make sure your connection is not behind a firewall. and use ubuntu 14.04 as it has given me no errors at all.

Can you explain the difference? Is there a way to run a node without being accessible from outside and still be eligible for the 1% bounty? How can it be done?

hey guys. such a great project. unfortunetly I've just heard about it. looking forward to invest when the ICO starts. I'll also try out the MVP to see how the system works. one question before I proceed tho, what would be traffic? I'd like to set my bandwidth according to that.
