The development of the MYST coin project is very slow, and the price of MYST coins has dropped to the bottom. However, the development prospect of VPN block chain project is still worth looking forward to.

Nodes - Enabling Service Providers

We are testing 3rd party Mysterium VPN nodes on TestNet! This is a significant step towards a decentralized, peer to peer based and server-less node network.

Users will be able to run Mysterium VPN nodes on any OS with Docker. As an alternative users will be able to setup VPN node using .deb packages on Debian or Ubuntu. Currently node supports OpenVPN as its underlying VPN transport.

You will need to have a static IP address for nodes. A domain is not needed as we don’t detect and use it in proposals.
For node to operate you need public IP. At this alpha testing phase we only support nodes operating in hosting servers (on external IPs only).

- I have launched my node with docker. Please tell what’s next?
We are whitelisting alpha node testers to our discovery service. If you are getting 403 it may mean you are not whitelisted yet - send PM with your IP and OS to our Project Manager Andrius @Zygman on Telegram.

- How can I check that it works?
After node IP gets whitelisted, you should get something like this:
[Mysterium.api] Proposal registered for node: 0x561eddc8c00f42541f50f0d0275f7e34bd92c057
The node (and identity) should be visible in https://testnet.mysterium.network/
You will be able to test tunnel by installing mysterium-client package and use --cli  for command like client.

- Do I need to open some ports in my router?
Yes, if node will be at home then you will need to forward required ports. You need to open at least 1194 (default OpenVpn) port.
You will need to setup forward rule into your local IP address where node runs.

We would like to thank everyone for participating. This is an open group so feel free to invite your friends to join us and host their own nodes as well.

I hope the team can come up with a reasonable business marketing plan as soon as possible to increase investor confidence.

Hi, our new Senior Marketing Professional employee starts next month so you will see a lot of new promotions and advertising. We are also working to release several other major software milestones and began 3rd party node hosting testing this week.

I'm just curious. With the testing that I'm doing, what would happen if I were to connect to the Mysterion VPN client as well as the regular VPN that I was using up until recently Is there any benefit in doing this?

Hi, VPN is not designed to run together with another VPN so that is not recommended. Even if you manage to connect you may have issues.

I try to imagine how it could work in future) For example somebody lunches his node and earn Myst tokens for providing his VPN where considered amount of passed traffic and other characteristics such as bandwidth and ping.

There is only one suggestion for the MYST coin, that is, sell it as early as possible, or it will return to zero. Investors need to pay attention to risk prevention.

Hi, please remember that regardless of price the MYST tokens will be able to be used for VPN services in the decentralized network. We are working hard to progress the project and will deliver a top quality solution for privacy on demand that will help protect those in need.

I have herd about IUNGO before. What do you think about the internet that is to be deployed by sattelite so that everyone will get at least 10 Mbit for free?

Hi, actually IUNGO is giving away their routers for free to providers all over the world as well. The competition is fierce and these are methods to help adoption and awareness of the products. Sure there is competition but we see that as a good thing.
