Everyone who hold their Navcoins since it was below 3000 sat is now a very happy person. NAV was long time a very undervalued coin and now it get what it deserve. Day by day more and more users come and join our community. That´s great.

I voted yes, but I really think that dev team should be more transparent about how many NAVs they're holding.

Exactly! Looks like it's a do not touch subject... Roll Eyes

As far as I know all the development has been founded by Craigs personal funds.

And whatever Dev team used to have has been spent last year keeping the project afloat. Bear in mind that before this year the value of NAV was trading below 3k sats and BTC's value was below 1000 usd.

And yet we get no transparency on that matter, don't we?

What's so hard to just say "hey we have THIS amount"?

A crypto home-brother of mine put me onto NAV in the midst of the epic rise to 40k last month. I've been following ever since, just waiting for an ideal entry, which i was luckily granted when NAV dipped below 12k sats Smiley

For a coin from 2014, I don't think one can find a much better historical chart. It's a pretty amazing chart from day 1 in '14!!

Just got my wallet synced up, which went much quicker than expected. Kudos on that as well! I'm now ready to encrypt, send coins and begin staking

With all that said, I'm curious as to why I was able to vote without having any coins in my freshly synced wallet. Seems it would make more sense to only allow wallets containing X number of NAV to have a say in network decisions. If someone could clarify, I'd appreciate it.

Or, please correct me if I'm failing to understand something here.

peace!

From what I read, it's stake based voting, which means, you get one vote every time you create a block on the chain.

Therefore you can't vote without coins because you can't stake. All you did was probably choose the voting option for each case you actually get a stake.

That also means that having a large balance and choosing the option in voting means nothing if your wallet is not staking

Excellent, thanks for the clarification, dude! I figured it must be something like you just described. I'll dig deeper into the NAV documentation and learn more about the process. Smiley

That is indeed correct Smiley

I try to collect all useful NAV Coin guides/tutorials at https://navtechservers.com/tutorials/, might be useful if you did not find it yet!

Guys I just downloaded Electrum NAV for macOS, version 3.6.0, I made a withdrawal from Bittrex, I can see them in the wallet and it says "not verified". I checked the transaction details and it has over 150 confirmations, what's the problem then? Thanks!
Still now my wallet doesn't synchronize, and I don't understand why. Once I open the wallet for a few seconds I see on the left bottom corner the "sync" status, but then it disappears, and my transaction is still not verified. Can anyone help me please?

You should not use electrum NAV because it is very old branch. version 3.6. NAV hard forked at version 4.x so the old wallet cannot understand new blocks.

@DEV team you really should remove that link or update electrum.

@Ale88 you will probably need to export the private key of your address from electrum and import it in a full 4.06 wallet. I don't see another way. You need to use the command line to import it because electrum does not have a wallet.dat file that you can overwrite

It is a shame to me that Nav still is vulnerable to these rapid price pumps and fall backs. We need to move to slow steady healthy growth

Oh, we really needed a useless comment by a guy that just registered.

We're here to make money and support blockchain technologies.

How we support them and how we make money is each its own interest.
