thanks, but it's a pity that there is no point) developers need to come up with a motivation for creating large pools of PI Smiley

Does it make sense to build a raspberry pi 3 cluster? just have in stock 20 pieces, I want to try)

Not for staking. It does not matter if you have 20.000 Nav Coin on one Raspberry Pi or a 1.000 Nav Coin on 20 Raspberry Pi's. You will still get a 5% staking reward. So either you will have 21.000 Nav Coin on one, or 1050 Nav Coin on 20.

so from what i have understood you can use the navcoin pi to mine nav coins which you can sell on exchanges? with 1 navcoin how many coins can you mine in an hour? what sort of profit can you make within a navcoin...

That is not how Proof of Stake works. You can earn 5% annually of the amount of coins you stake. So for example:
- You have a 1000 Nav Coin and stake this in the Core wallet or on the NavPi. In one year of staking you will mine 50 Nav Coin as stake rewards. Now you have 1050 Nav Coin.
- 10000 = 500 stake rewards so total 10500
- and so on..

They walk among us...
I have resizing GUI issues too and also the "unexpectedly quit" dialog after a couple of days. V4.04 ON Mac

Not a major problem as I can see what I need to see and just restart when it dies. Just figure it will be fixed in new update.

Doesn't effect staking, sending or receiving so no big deal.

I think the GUI issue is prob if your using a small screen and the default size is too big for your screen size (1366 x 768) in my case. (weird Mac resolution lol) I can only make my screen smaller not bigger so can't access the arrows for extending or dragging the GUI.

Hi,  i was running v303 and staking without problems on a win10 (x64) system.  then i install v404.  It starts up, i can see the splash screen during start up.  Also i know it is running as i can see it in task mgr and also i can see it's thumbnail in the task bar. (when i hover over task bar i can its thumbnail)  i can not bring up the gui though.  i think it is a resizing issue because of the second problem...  on a separate win7 x64 system i have installed nav 404.  in win7 the gui comes up but it no longer can be resized like it could in v403  so the bottom part of the gui is off screen and i cant see the lock, connections, etc..

please tell me what i can do to recover my coins from the win10 wallet that no longer appears.  i have my backup dat from right before i installed v404 (dat is from v403) but i don't know what to do with it.

i also made this post at the technical support thread at the website but not yet replied for several days,  also looked over navtech servers site but i didn't notice any tutorial how to backup from wallet.dat.  there was something but it looks like it involves pasting the private key into the wallet.  my wallet was encrypted so i don't think i can do that.  can i just copy and replace my wallet.dat into a fresh install and start it up or revert back to v403 for now?

any advice appreciated.  please help.  thanks!

I am not sure why you have resizing issues, see the gif I made below.

The wallet.dat is the file that holds the private keys. When you encrypt your wallet, you basically just encrypt the wallet.dat file (which is very important, you dont want this to be clear text)

To make a backup, simply make a copy (or better, multiple copies) of your wallet.dat. So the wallet.dat is what I would call the wallet. Everything else is just a user interface showing what is in the wallet and making you able to stake and send.

To backup:
- Go to you NavCoin4 folder (~/appdata/NavCoin4 in windows)
- Copy the wallet.dat somewhere else, your pc, phone, USB, whatever.

To import:
- Delete the wallet.dat in the NavCoin4 folder (Make sure that wallet is empty and you don't want to use it
- Paste the wallet.dat you want to use in the NavCoin4 folder

If you have any more questions, feel free! Smiley

Interesting to ask, how much NAV you can mine with old medieval PC? (Let's take some example, or example of average laptop)

How much NAV you can mine with this NavPi?
It costs $100 on your web-site, so interesting when it's possible to return investment

Hi, NAV is fully PoS. In order to ''mine'' (Stake) you need to download the wallet. The wallet doesn't take much processing. I used to generate NAVs with the shittiest XP dual core and 2 gb of memory.

Hi mate. I am in Mac. Don't much about windows environment but if you have a backup of wallet.dat your coins are safe. Look at Colvano's tutorials: navtechserver.com

Nav is a big and old coin, still not appreciated by the community and, in my opinion, much but underestimated. Its beauty and its uniqueness, with its uses, will sooner or later be seen by all, and then NAV coins will rise in price, and old owners will be happy.

Nav looks very good today, nice price movement, hope we will see uptrend soon. We have many positive news here and market will respond to this sooner or later.
Yes I also see it, I also expect the price to rise higher, if in need up 50%. This coin with the best project ever, maybe 3-5 more days up will happen,

NAV might be riding the anon-coin pump wave, along with monero and the others.

Lets hope it keeps the gains as it was underpriced to begin with

Any store can buy, sell, and accept Crypto
Nav defintely looks good today, slowly its heading upwards but we need more good news to make this project a big success!
Apart from recent launchh of NAV staking unit there are more things to come in future which will skyrocket the price.
