Its scrypt not sha256.

These directions do not work for me, I get errors trying to initialize my USB ASIC miners.

The difficulty is very very low (0.0002) you can mine hard... and coins per Block are variable (exponential moving average'difficulty/reward adjustment)

It's easy to mine for people who don't know:

1. Run setup-neocoin.exe

2. Cick on Neocoin Server on your Desktop, wait...

3. then Click on Neocoin Miner on your Desktop

you are mining! that's all!

You can also download a ZIP version without autoimatic miner.

This is what i call a DUMP and DUMP coin

Even with scrypt its still isnt working properly.

For those with scrypt copy and paste this into your neocoin mining shortcut (if you are using a decent video card otherwise some adjustments will need to be made):

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Neocoin\cgminer\cgminer.exe" --scrypt -o localhost:8000 -u user -p x --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256

I understand this can be mined with GPU and CPU.

Can someone post their GPU hashes/sec together with their hardware?

I am getting

"hashespersec" : 78257,  on an intel i7 3770k

I think the zip and exe window builds are different.

One is reporting 18.4E difficulty and other 26.

So what is the current block and difficulty of the correct chain, Dev?

I wonder what EA / Westwood Studios thinks about them using a screen cap of the old Blade Runner game for their main page Tongue

don't worry I'm in the same boat as you.  I only have about 300,000 coins right now and i have a whole lot more hash than you.

i am mining with more than 10 mhash from the beginning and i got 1 block.

Doesn't matter what you mean cuz it's working again and I just mined 15k coins since that last post.. it's going through again!  And the crashes has stoped since..

wierd shit..

I'm then guessing you have no idea what I mean?

What part did you miss?  I said I was able to mine 200,000 coins fine and now i can't.. it's all orphans and rejects.

and crashing!!

Okay I mined 200k of this fine and then all of a sudden all I get is orphans!  What's up witht hat shit??  And add to that it crashes every 10 mins now..

I'm just guessing you didn't sync up fully with the blockchain so you weren't on the longest chain?
