miner sent deadline(s), but pool did not confirm getting (or wrong/empty answer).

As i'm not writing from my main computer, I can only test this with a 1 GB plot. When connection to your pool i get this error.

-[ANNOUNCEMENT]- ByteEnt Asset Announcement!

Hey everyone, figure it has been a little while since I've done a new update on the things I'm working on within ByteEnt scope, so thought it was about time to do so.

Having a bit of extra funding lying around, (well, not EXTRA just... a bit of funding. Haha...) I have decided to ...

-Add 5x2 TB drives to my mining power for the Asset Miner

Yea, you're adding it up right, that means, 10TB more mining power will soon be plotted into the ByteEnt asset miner (named BURSTCITY1 in burst.ninja's pool statistics page...)

Yes, there is a reason I have decided to go with 2TB drives, and no it was not random. lol. The reason is, this will effectively fill up the empty spaces in the rackservers I have at my home, which only currently support 2TB max. Not to mention I got an extremely good deal on them.

I will likely be adding more to the miner soon as well, and there may be a few new surprises ahead for ByteEnt too! So, don't all go running off to buy the asset right now or anything! Wink

Happy mining, and assetting (yea, it's a word, I promise...) BURST community!

Will be back to post a pic for some 'proof' here in a second. Gonna go take them. Thanks!

There was an issue with the pool displaying the web page, but it was still processing nonce submissions and paying out, so shouldn't have impacted your miner. The web page issue has been resolved and the pool is running normally.

OK thanks, however my miner was also getting a set of Red error messages, cannot remember what they were now. But no problems before & no problems on other Pools, and I have not changed anything. I will try and work out what the problem is.

I was also getting some problems, but they are gone now. I checked http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/burst.ninja.html and it reported that it was down. When the pool got up again it was possible to see the amount of downtime. (No mined blocks) It was around 10-15 block in a row with no blocks mined by burst.ninja.

(I checked with burst.ninja:8125 and it was up. Don't know if it's off topic

I'm having 50/50 super stable network, so it's not the problem in my case. (also isitdownrightnow.com reported that it was down.)

Thanks for the replies, am back over now and running fine. I was far from certain it was an Internet problem as other sites were accessible, but always possible here as we are 2 1/2 Miles from the exchange. Lost the website several times and also checked at one point and there was a great string of red error messages on the Miner. Trouble with Burst is that changing Pools is a slow process...

I have made a post with informations about changes to the asset and posted an update on the funds.
I'm very proud to say it has been a good month, the rates has been high and we have gotten a lot of funds early. You can buy margin at anytime, but buying at the last moment will reduce everyones payout (Not recommend) Wink

Actually, it is EXTREMELY easy on your drives, not a single person in the over a year BURST has been around has mentioned anything near BURST being bad for their drives, and myself personally, every single one of the drives I mine with still works as if it were brand new.

If you think about it, you're only using the drive for a few seconds every 4 minutes or so, it's hardly as bad as actually using them for data, and it doesn't use them near to their potential or stress them out in the slightest.

If you do some mining for yourself, maybe you'll see what I mean Wink

Actually it's not - on my miners the drives are active for about 30 seconds on average every 4 minutes. It's not a constant activity, just bursts each round. I've 30-40 drives mining, and the only ones I've had failures on are the ones I expected to - 2 * 3TB Seagates. Never buy those PoS drives ......
