Start making it better by shutting down Burst Nation and reverting back to the original Op and getting the original Dev leading the charge. That or this coin is dead.

You're not going to shut down BURST Nation until the loud mouth thinks he's fleeced his followers enough.

Again, that person and website  (BURST Nation)  is not BURST or the official site of BURST.  Just like I can't put up a website today and be the "official" site of bitcoin, etc, etc.

Invest wisely, the trash will eventually cycle through ... and you still have an opportunity to make big money in BURST imo.

I did not know this all was going on.
I really hope the community wil fix this. Because i really like the POC idea. Lets hope for the best!

I'm sadden at the way the Burst community is in at the moment as I have been a big time Burst supporter for almost 1 year now and I never would of thought that it would come to this. I'm losing trust in Burst everyday as it looks like this crap will never stop and I'm not the only one. Like I have said in here and over at Burst Nation, I have respect for Crow for everything he has done and trust in his assets and that I also have respect for what Adam has also done for the community because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be in Burst. So at this moment I will continue to mine Burst and support the community but for now I won't be investing any more Burst in any of the assets until the faces of Burst sort out their issues and again I'm not the only one who feels this way.

2 of my plots! just add last plot nonce and go!

Ok perfect.

Something else. If you have lets say 4x5TB an 4x1TB.
And you plot first all the 4X5TB so the nonces are starting on the first and ending on the last. Then starting with the last nonces on the 1TB's. Is this the best option?
Or does it really make no difference if you first plot a 1TB, then a 500GB, then a 5TB, then again a 500GB, then maybe a 8TB.. end so on...
I just was wondering today if this make any difference in mining.. :-)

Offcourse most people will not have this nice system unless you do al the plots again. but even then if  you somthing finds like a cheap 1TB and just want to add it after your last  5TB... then again the nice system is gone :p

I'm starting each new drive using unique start_nonce (100000000, 200000000, ...)

-ANNouncement- Official apology for bringing Adam into BURST by crowetic

Hello all, please see these posts...

http://forums.burst-team.us/topic/5205/crowetic-s-apology-and-official-split-from-adam

I'm sorry for allowing things to get to this point, but I had some delusion that I might be able to help him come out of the ways of being a dick to everyone. I was wrong, and for this I'm sorry.

Let us make BURST a place where ANYONE is welcome, and not a dictatorship run by someone out only for making their own pockets fatter.

Thanks!

I will be back shortly with another post courtesy of one of the BURST core dev team members.

Still only 25% lol

see prinscreen, any settings that are wrong?

It takes time, my 2TB disk plotted 3-4 days as far as i remember. And yes threads and cores are related - each 1 physical core got 2 threads, so it's always threads=cores*2.

I am trying the GPU plotter right now. Its already 3 times faster. but still it says it would take 5 days to plot a 5Tb. And then after that i still need to optimize the plots, so i dont know how long this optimizing will take..?

If i check IMINEBLOCKS on youtube, he doing 25.000 nonces per minute. I am doing with my GPU only 2500 but its already lots faster then my CPU

You have ZBook i7 g2? (i7, 8 cores)
For my low-end CPU (FX-6300, 6 cores) plotting by XPlotter 2Tb = 25 hrs (5120 nonces/min)

Hi Blago,

I want to thank you and everybody else out here who helped me with all my plotting issues.

I finally managed to plot a 1TB drive overnight. This with my HP ZBOOK 17 G2 at 8000 nonces/minute (CPU mining, using 6 of the 8 thread. My CPU ussage is around 90%, so its good to have so margin)

So this morning is was very happy to see it was done. Now i am doing a 5TB in 1 plotting file. Also 8000 nonces/minute. I will let you guys know if it also worked out.

----
One more question
---

Lets say my first plot is from  0_40000. My second has to start at 40000 right? NOT at 40001 right? Always include the last number of your previous plot right?

I am 99.99 procent sure, but just to double check hihi

but forum is down so can't login to wallet or forum

Oh thanks for that, just got in and could not access, wondered if it was me. Local Wallet is ok if you have it up and running?

Rich

I only have online one, there was a ninja online wallet link but can't remember it..I hope someone comes here to post it lol as i only have the online wallet..
You might mean: http://burst.ninja:8125/index.html

But you should not used it, as the connection might not be secure. Remember, you are sending your passphrase to the server every time you do something and it could be scooped up in some cases.

If you want to use an on-line service better use this https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125/ as it is an HTTPS connection, more secure than an HTTP only....
(also if, at the moment, is unreachable..... just tried and timeout connection....) hope they will resume the service soon.

do not be need to worry over it for these issues ..because these are part of this assignment.

Anybody in the community i can get e skype session with?

I really would like to know more about the different pools and how it works.

plotting with my gpu nivdea k1100 is taking to long. Today i am going to buy a good card.

Any advice for a good card around the 500 euro, or ist best option just to buy rx 470  480  so after i used for plotting i can use it for ETH. Or is there a more good powerfull card that i afterwords also can use to mine coins?

Hello everyone, apologies for my absence from bitcointalk for a while, things have been incredibly busy lately.

I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that BURSity asset has acquired the following assets...

BURSTaker

BURSTeam

ByteEnt

and I've taken the liberty of 'rescuing' the holders of BCAPITAL so that is also included.

everyone will need to swap their assets for BURSity from the above assets.

you can send to the alias bursity, or... BURST-3U24-2PLM-AXRA-AG45H

Many apologies for not coming here to let people know sooner, I had assumed that most BURST people were on burstnation by now or at least were reading about the assets there.

Also - for the people who have suggested that I 'change the description on the blockchain' for the assets that have merged... I really wish I could do that, but unfortunately it isn't possible...

So the only way people can find the necessary information is by watching the forums.

Thank you

It's great to see you back Crowetic, I did my best to try and keep people up to date on the asset swap but I guess some people missed my posts on here and in the other Burst threads. Thanks for the recent payouts my friend and reinvested into buying more of your assets and will continue to do so for a long time. I hope to see you on here a lot more now as things ain't that good over at the Nation but I'm really hoping that everyone can sort out there issues and get back to being a united Burst community.

but still i would like to discuss some things about plotting.  The cores and threads, are they related to eachother.

Don't try to plot with more threads than your CPU has cores - do NOT include "Hyperthreading" so-called cores in that either.

Keep in mind you don't HAVE to plot the drive as one file - every drive I have is plotted in smaller chunks, and then mined on after the first plot file was complete.
Tradeoff there is that you need to keep at least one core free (more on a CPU-based miner) for the miner when you do that.

2500 nonces/sec is very slow for a GPU - are you using something low-end like a GTX 750ti or a HD 7750 or some such?
I'm pretty sure I was seeing similar speeds to that using 2 or 3 cores out of my A10 CPUs and an AVX-capable plotter.
