I´m also having problems with the new 1.2.4-Wallet not updating anymore.
I´ve already downloaded a new copy of the DB, but it still won´t update, it´s stuck with the last downloaded block (250030).   Also tried a fresh install.

Version 1.2.3 is working fine, though.

at first mine wasnt updating as well, but i keept it running overnight an when i woke up everything was up-to-date strange...

-[ANNouncement]- Enjoy the new OP thanks to OverdozedCEO!

Very nice to have the community that we do here @ BURST. Today we've had a community member step up and offer some assistance, and has developed a brand new OP for us! I have posted it!

I will be starting a CF for CEO, to help get him something for his hard work and I would appreciate donations when I do so, I'll be first to give 250k!

Thanks to CEO for the new OP!

Thanks i hope you guys enjoy it, was quiet some work to do and i hope this attracts a lot new people to the op and the BURST community in general!

Just to add that I am variously having problems with both the Online & Local Wallet getting stuck. Sometimes switching has helped, sometimes restarting has helped, sometimes nothing helps. Never saw this with the previous Wallet.

Rich

just switched my 10TB to http://pool.burstcoin.eu/ and will check out the new pool!

Firstly, thank you to the 30 people who have moved over to the new pools:

http://pool.burstcoin.biz
http://pool.burstcoin.eu

however, between burst.ninja and pool.burst-team.us we have over 1,000 registered miners. We need you to move around to try and load balance the pools.

Too much capacity on an individual pool or pools causes problems for us. Forks happen and some of us mine for the wrong block; the pool gets overwhelmed and confirmations get delayed; and other issues.

I'd much rather that you choose to move, so I'll offer a carrot, instead of the stick. For the next two weeks the fee on http://pool.burstcoin.biz & http://pool.burstcoin.eu will be reduced to 1% instead of the current 2%.

If the carrot approach doesn't help spread out the power, we'll look at using the stick - increasing the mining fee on the overloaded pools.

PLEASE - help us balance out the network for the benefit of all of us miners.

Thanks.

H.

Is there a way to limit the number of miners on a pool or or only allow a certain amount of storage to mine with per user? Or is it just an honor system up to the people to help stabilize the pools?

It's an honor system. Technically we could prevent certain miners from connecting to certain hosts - but I won't do that, I want everyone to be able to mine. I want the Burst community to be self policing, and balance themselves out without us needing to use sticks.

I have a lot of "connection reset by peer" errors on pool.burst-team.us lately. I remember that I also had those errors on burst.ninja, but then you guys fixed something and then it worked again.
Anyone else got this problem? Maybe I'll try to switch back to ninja if it doesn't get better to see if there is any difference.

ltcnim - we're trying to get miners to spread out across all the pools, consider moving to:

http://pool.burstcoin.biz
http://pool.burstcoin.eu

H.

both pools are down for me. When using https, i get a warning in firefox:

Code:
Your connection is not secure

The owner of pool.burstcoin.eu has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

Edit:

http://www.websitedown.info/pool.burstcoin.biz also says it's down

Don't use https - the pool is http only.

http://www.websitedown.info/pool.burstcoin.biz  says it's down as well, but I can connect and it's got up to date stats. I suspect something is fubar'd on the internet routing.

-[ANNouncement]- NEW POOLS by BURST team!

I just wanted to make sure everyone saw the announcements of our new pools. haitch made the announcements a while back, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw them.

http://pool.burstcoin.biz and http://pool.burstcoin.eu are both online now, we will be modifying the deadline limits on all of the pools to structure for small, medium, and large miners shortly.

BURST's rapid growth is very awesome, and we are happy about this, it has caused our current pools to have quite a few people on them, and thus the need for more pools has arose.

Thank you for being part of our community, and enjoy the new pools! Thanks!

When should I receive the payouts from pool.bustcoin.biz? After 24 hours or after reaching a specific amount of BURST?

Edit: Cool, thanks!  Smiley

B457, you get paid out when you hit 300 coin balance, or approximately 24 hours after you earn the coins.
