Just dropped required confirmations on http://btg.pnwminer.com to 150. Also fees are only 1.75%. Happy mining!

ShadowofScales: Just curious why you need a full 1 BTG to have a functioning wallet? I have not looked at the Windows wallet in a while, but do you need 1 BTG for it to work?

So due to my painfully low mining khash speed of 150khash (laptop)
Would anyone be kind enough to donate 1 BTG so I can have a working wallet? I've only managed 0.08 myself.

Much appreciated, I like the idea of this coin, so I'll contribute to the mining hash-rate!

If required, I can send MicroCoins in exchange for one, or Particle (although I'd rather hold onto those).

The currency's already been trading in cryptsy and listed in coinmarketcap too.
Everybody's gonna regret for missing out such a rare and a splendid innovation.

I have no idea how many other pools there are, but there is always http://btg.pnwminer.com

http://bitgem.dyndns.org/

It was in need of some housekeeping, which has been taken care of.  I also have a block explorer (possibly the only one that still works) and a paper-wallet generator (based on bitaddress.org) available.

Thanks man, a block explorer were really necessary !

Has anyone of you considered, or attempted creating own exchange just for BitGems? I think that the coin need some kind of marketplace, with not too many currencies but a place where people can easily buy and sell BitGems. Are there any plans for that?

Ahhh..  you probably tried several days to a week ago. New server went in yesterday morning, DNS issues fixed a few days ago, new Internet backend in place. Running great now!

I'll be on there in a few. Have to set up again. Pages loaded quicker I did notice

If you want your coins faster, you could always mine on http://btg.pnwminer.com. Only requires 200 confirmations instead of 520 like solo mining.  Wink

I was trying to mine there. The page loads initially, then when I try to login or look at stats....etc It doesn't load and I get the page can not be found  Cry
