New NFD client release nfd-client-NFD-1.3.6.zip

This release fixes a jetty security bug. Everyone using NFD 1.3.5 should upgrade! NFD 1.2.9 is not affected.

NFD 1.3.6 changelog:
Updated jetty to version 9.2.9 due to a critical security bug:
http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/jetty-announce/msg00074.html
Delete the old lib folder before unpacking on top of a previous installation.

Checkpoints updated

Just an FYI, when using version 1.3.5 and then viewing the "http://localhost:8876/test" URL, the "javadoc" links all end up with 404 error pages.  It looks like some HTML files are missing from the package.

just compile Java docs with ./javadoc.sh
This will create the directory and documentation.

Ok, thanks for the information.  I'm not familiar with java development or compiling so I'll have to look into this.

You could also use https://nfdcoin.com/wallet/doc/
and https://nfdcoin.com/wallet/test

NFD needs a new exchange or two. I've submitted another request to have it added to Poloniex.

Thanks a lot!

I have to start the process manually. I forgot it.

...

Are you planning to issue any more NFDMMNXT?  Looks like there are more folks interested than you thought!

I'd really appreciate that.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Unfortunately, 25'000 was all I issued and right now I'm broke. Smiley I bought a big hunk of BTC, but it's in limbo for 14 days because the exchange I bought them at doesn't trust first-time buyers. Huh

I used to buy at Vault of Satoshi...and damn, do I miss them...

Anyhoo: I seem to have a bit of a hit with NFDMMNxt, which did surprise me a bit. You're absolutely right about a second issue providing more buy support for NFD.

There is definitely a buyer here if you make a second issue the fair market price. Smiley

More NFDMMNXT to buy means more dividend transactions.
more dividend transactions means more NFD tx volume.
more NFD tx volume means price going up and attracts more attention.

you can buy it on nfd exchange ,there are some sellers.

That's not a viable solution.  They are just scalpers asking about twice as much as is fair market value.  A fool would buy that.
