I installed the miner a week ago but didnt register on the web site, and I been mining for some good hours now since to my btc address.
I was supposed to be paid today, but now says on the 5th June!
My balance is 0.003345 around 6 dollars.
I tough this had a minimum payment, not a date, and if is a date why change the date and not paying???
Is my first time using it, is this a Scam?Huh??

Use the absolute minimum fee as possible to send. I don't care if it takes a day.

If we use absolute minimum fee, you will never be paid. Check blockchain network. To make a 226 byte transaction (1 input, 1 output) - the minimum that is possible - you need about 0.005 BTC as a fee. Anything lower than that you risk transaction never to be confirmed. Would you like to receive 0.00259411 instead of 0.00759411 ? I think not.

BTW, if you wish to blame someone, blame Bitcoin core devs and Chinese pools. The current situation would never happen if there was no greed.

You can read all about right here.

Due to issues with payments, all payments for 0.001 are delayed until further notice. We will process payments 0.01 ASAP.

Because fees are astronomical, we are also working on changes regarding payment schedule and fees.

Eh, I  was suppose to be paid today and was counting on my BTC. 5-19-2017. I need my BTC today!

Hi,

I would like to know what happens in the following situation.

  • An Order is created for a high limit and has 6000-7000 miners assigned.
  • The Order is canceled and the account is credited the unused amount of BTC including fees.

It is my understanding that it takes time for the miners to switch to another Order.

What happens to the shares that are mined between the Order cancellation and the time the miners switch to another Order?

Is the credit applied at the time of cancellation or is the original Order credited only after all miners and shares are accounted for?

How soon are the credit amounts returned to the account? Immediately or in increments as miners switch?

A detailed response is appreciated.

Thanks!

Miners are instructed to join another order the same moment you cancel the order. All shares received after that are considered stale. Miners that do not support extranonce.subsribe need to reconnect. Because of that, all miners are reward some virtual shares according to their past speed, which is deducted from your order balance before the rest of BTC is transfered back to your account. There is no such penalty if you cancel the order that has 0 miners working on. Remaining BTC is transfered back to your account in about 5-15 seconds.

When you refer to shares in "All shares received after that are considered stale.", you are referring to shares reported to nicehash which a buyer would have to pay for if not stale. Correct? What about pool shares found by the miner while the cancel and join process is taking place (user or api sends cancel, nicehash determines which miners, nicehash sends cancel notice to miners, miners process change - maybe a couple seconds on thousands of miners?)? I assume there are some pool shares that are still valid that don't get reported or are marked as stale by nicehash.  Can this be a significant number of shares?  I am trying to figure out why this and similar patterns are occurring. There must be some benefit to those buyers or they would not be placing orders in that manner if, as you describe, they are paying for virtual shares based on past speed.  Any insight is helpful!

The whole process is instant, it doesn't take few seconds, but few milliseconds.

What issues are you having?

Hello,

I am running the nicehash miner for ETH with these parameters,

can smbdy check if it is correct like that? for 3 cards..
-asm 2 -ethi 16 -dcri 45 -cvddc 1232,1232,1232 -mclock 2050,2050,2050, -cclock 1126,1126,1126

I am just not sure, if it takes these parameters, or ignore them...

Dear NiceHash Team,

Will you ever offer the ability for your miners to choose their payout method?  That is:  I'd like to be paid in Ethereum or Litecoin instead of Bitcoin.

1.  This would solve the expensive transaction fee issues you are facing.  (Payouts could resume like the good old days..much more frequently.)
2.  This would solve our expensive transaction fee and bitcoin delay issues.

Thanks for considering!

Hi,

I got sapphire RX 580 8gb Nitro+ Hynix ram card... i already updated the bios with polaris bios editor&AtiFlash..my driver is 17.5.1. Overclocked the memory to 2200 and downclocked the gpu core to 1100..And so i got 20-21 mh/s ethdcr miner which is so low cuz i saw 27-28 in the below video;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT9K8DqaeDs

can anybody tell me why i am getting so low numbers with my 580?

that video is about samsung memory. hynix is more touchy.
from this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.19074300
seems like motherboard choice comes into play... and more tweaking

Hi all, I'm looking for some help. My MSI GTX 1070 seems to crash after 3-4 hours of running NiceHash.

https://imgur.com/a/FnKOJ

The small amount of profitability that's continuing is my CPU mining. It's done this every night so far and I've tried everything from setting the card OC settings to default to using a mouse auto-clicker to keep my PC 'active'. All drivers for GPU are up-to-date. My specs are as follows:
i7 4790k
16GB RAM
MSI GTX 1070 (power 85%, aggressive fan curve, +100 clock, +500 mem)
MSI z97 KRAIT MOBO
RM850 850w 80+ Gold Rated PSU

Here's what some of the logs look like after the GPU crashes:

From the looks of it - it is a standard switching stability issue. Due to context creation/destructions when switching algorithms, your PC can hang/bluescreen/freeze/restart.

You may try disabling certain algorithm.

And wait for excavator to have more algorithms inside so this issue will not be happening anymore.

Thanks. I'll try only using 1 algorithm tonight and see how stability holds up.
