NHML 1.9.0.1 stable version has been released with lower fees, better dual mining and benchmarking. Any plans for an update?

+1!

And many are going to be amazed at the difference the correct -dcri value can make to what you thought was most profitable! (Power usage excepted)

I would set the decri range start @ 5.
This is true for Keccak and possibly for the other 2nd coins too from what I can tell.  (Benching atm)

NB that the std test goes up in increments of 25.
I would set an increment to 5, (min 5 to max 40 (go higher if it sets 40...))
and then fine tune;
Range of 4 either way using an increment of 1 to find the optimum.
ie: if it chooses 35, set increment at 1, range 31 to 39... re test.

I tried the overwrite method and re-benched the Claymore algos and everything seems to be working fine  Grin

As long as the miner does not change the way it runs (renaming parameters, requiring new parameters or removing old ones), an in-line replacement should work just fine.
I would recommend backing up the old version, just in case, and give it a try.

Just saw that a new claymoredual miner 11.7 has been released and was wondering about the best way to update it in nicerminer.
Is it simply a matter of dragging it into the claymore dual folder and overwriting whats there or should I do a full re-install?

Nah not really worried about Qubit, was more just for your record for future builds. This one is definitely the best to date though.
Hows your other project coming along?

To be honest, I wouldn't be too worried about Qubit as it's dominated by ASICs.
Glad things sorted out.

Cheers.

Was having issue with dual mining in 0.4.5, even running CPU and GPU miners at same time but 0.4.6 seems to have fixed that. The new CNv7 algo seems to have made CPU mining more profitable.  Grin
New build looks stable with only 2 things I've noticed, the first being the CNv7 ccminer not benching which we already knew about.
The other is with Qubit but this could just be my rig. The algo benches fine but if i try to mine with it it wont hash, just says 0.00h/s. Not a major problem but worth mentioning. Anyone else having this issue?

Release 0.4.6 - 2018-04-12
Hotfix release due to MPH renaming the Cryptonight Hub to Cryptonight-Monero
You only really need to upgrade to this release if you mine the Cryptonight V7 Hub.

I was able to mine CNV7 using the bundled XmrStak on my Nvidia rig.
The bundled CCminer seems to fail on my end too when trying to benchmark on my Nvidia rig.

Last night I was also able implement support for Skein, Lyra2z, Groestl, MyriadGroestl and Qubit so stay tuned :-)

So after checking the NHML Alpha, you're right about the mining windows. They behave the same in NHML as NM so i assume its something to do with being an Alpha.
With the CNV7 (ccminer) algo I have tried it on a few machines but haven't been able to get it to work. I did notice that there is no listing for CNV7 (ccminer) int the benchmarks but I'm assuming the name of the original CN (ccminer) has just been changed? All benchmarks completed successfully in NHML.
Log file below attempting bench and 3 reties.

I will take another look tonight.
I was able to run this version on two of my Nvidia rigs, and was able to benchmark and mine CryptonightV7 on both GPU and CPU.

Logs can help if you can share any, but I made no changes around that area, so potentially, it should behave the same as the original NHML v1.9.0.0 alpha.

Running v0.4 now, seems to be working well for the most part with a couple of minor bugs or 'features' Wink
The main one being that I'm unable to benchmark Cryptonight V7 (ccminer) GPU, it doesn't seem to start and just keeps asking me to retry, possible it hasn't downloaded?
The 'features' are that as well as XMRstak CPU mining window, the Equihash (EWBF) and CNv7 (XMRStak) GPU miners now display mining windows albeit minimised rather than hidden. Other than that, the new CNv7 seems to work well.

Thanks for the update, really appreciate it.

Release 0.4 - 2018-04-09
Updated to sync with NHML v1.9.0.0 alpha
Supporting Cryptonight v7 to mine the MPH Cryptonight Hub
Claymore Dual Miner Ethash+Keccak is still not officially supported by NHML, you will need to follow the override instruction described in the release notes for version 0.2 (below)

Download NicerMiner v0.4:

This is based on an alpha version of NHML. So proceed with care.

Cryptonight V7 update: I've upgraded NicerMiner to match NiceHashLegacy miner version 1.9.0.0-Alpha.

The migration was slightly painful as the profit switching functionality completely changed between version 1.8.1.9 and 1.8.1.10.

Going to run it overnight and will post an updated version tomorrow if it all checks out.

Cheers.

Just saw on the socials that the upcoming XMR fork will use the new cryptonightV7 algo to eliminate XMR asic mining. NH have release and alpha that supports the new algo, are you planning to update NM to the new NH 1.9.x.x?
Happy to help with any testing Wink
