NIX platform is a new decision for everyone who needs completely privacy. First NIX product is DEX manager which can unites all DEXs, increasing liquidity and privacy for those who want it. You can choose any currency which is atomic-swapable and trade it Ghost protocol will make it total private and untracable.
Regardless of which way the team decide to go, be it POS or POW I fully trust that the team will make the decision based on what is best for the platform, not what is best for miners, speculators or anyone else. People need to understand that ultimately what is good for the platform will benefits everyone that holds NIX.

Well after reading all of this it does indeed seem PoS is the answer...what made me laugh was I think DMZ said wallet UI would be postponed as they focus on the major changes needed for PoS, then he said actually the wallet UI may already be done

There is a reason ETH will move to POS. Its better for platforms imo. Regardless of the economic benefits, I think it will make NIX more secure technically.

I feel that proof of stake should not be prioritised if its just to appease NIX holders, the team should focus on the more exciting stuff. If it's necessary to secure the network further then sure, but proof of stake isn't why we are interested in NIX

Personally, I didn't sympathize with the idea of PoS when I suddenly heard about it. But after doing some research, now I consider it might be worth to analyze.
