What is it that we plan to accomplish?
-Without giving too much away, as our next update will outline just that, I will drop a teaser image below. I'll let everyone speculate for a bit Wink
-Also, we are also working on something we call Nocurnal Emissions, a dark send protocol.

You know Nocturnal Emissions sounds kinda cool...

...until you realize it's simply a technical term for involuntary ejaculation by males while asleep, otherwise known as a "wet dream"

Nocturna Update 7/22/15:

First and foremost, I appreciate everyone's patience as this has been a lot of work thus far and certainly will not be getting any easier as time goes on.
Secondly, it must be stressed that this project is not going to finished overnight (Rome was not built overnight, either.)

So what is it that we have been doing for the past 2 weeks?
-Over the past 2 weeks we (the 2 devs on this project) have been working on pound out a new wallet UI (pic below). The wallet is currently in bitcoin testnet, so nothing is final...*yet*
Why a new wallet UI? Aren't there more important things to work on? Sure. But everyone likes a pretty wallet to send and recieve coins with...right?! The screenshot of the new wallet is below.
-Addressing those that have dumped due to being impatient:
Projects, especially finacial ones, have 'quiet periods.' For example, look at the quiet period Nautilus coin had before a statement about the project's future was made.

Nocturna Update 7/22/15:

"First and foremost, I appreciate everyone's patience with this slow start, as this project has already been a lot of work, and it certainly will not be getting any easier as time goes on.
Secondly, I must stress that this project will not be finished overnight. There is plenty of development work remaining, along with ample opportunity for community feedback and beta testers. Rome was not built in a day, and neither are revolutionary blockchain networks.
Over the past two weeks since launch, we (myself and my second dev) have been working on a new wallet UI, with additional coding done ahead of time to smooth the way for several wallet upgrades we have planned in the future. Once this train gets rolling, we don’t want any untimely delays slowing us down! The wallet is currently undergoing bitcoin testnet so nothing is final yet, however to sate your curiosity I’ve attached a sneak peek image below!
Now, I know a lot of you have been wondering exactly what the usecase of Nocturna will be—while I definitely want this to be a coin with an involved and informed community, I cannot yet give away too many details lest another, better funded, project jump in and steal our first mover’s advantage. We launched Nocturna with no ICO and no premine because we don’t believe in charging people for unfinished products, but please remember that this lack of exterior funding means our project might progress a little slower than we would prefer. That being said, I hope to outline most of the project in my next community update Smiley Until then, check out the teaser image posted below!

Also, as one of the base functionalities of $NOC, we are working on “Nocturnal Transmissions,” our dark send protocol. "

What spyware? There is none. The virus scan is 100% clean. It would be great if you would stop fudding my thread.

Dev, can you explain us what is your idea/plan about the coin ?

I dumped my coins on Yobit and deleted my wallet today. Better safe than sorry, and there are plenty of other coins out there. This reminds me of mt. gox days. The people who warned against the dangerous were laughed at, but in the end everybody else lost money because of greed.  0_____o

trader19 was not infected by the noc's wallet.
It was just an unconfirmed suspicion.
As he said, the infection occurred probably long before.
Several experienced users scan the wallet and there is no problems.

anyone here scan the wallet with an antivirus before install?
Trader19 had all his crave stolen and dumped by a backdoor last night

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1125637.new#new

I performed Virustotal and Avast scans at the outset, and Malwarebytes again on the machine NOC was installed to, and didn't turn up anything suspicious. But I'll wait for the attacked party to confirm what happened before I declare NOC 100% clean.

When the similar situation happened to me the trojan had been on my machine for months before it was actually used to steal coins. Could be the same case here.
more and more i investigate it comes to that what u wrote. by the looks RAT spyware was installed long before yesterday, don't know how av didn't block it. i am still investigating so stay alert.

NOC wallet works fine for me...shoud I be worried? Sad

There's something wrong here. It's probably a hidden virus in the wallet. No one is fudding. You haven't done developing, which means you either launched this thread for giggles or you are trying to spread malware. No one should download anything from this thread. They should all run several malware scanners and run from this coin.

I have run 3 antivirus programs and wallet and system seem fine. The poster also said he had SHRMS wallet. That would more likely be the culprit, or just a virus from before those 2 wallets were installed. Of course I can't say for 100% it is safe, but it passed virustotal, Clam, AVG, Malware Antibytes, and Emisoft for me.

None of those were infected the one who had a virus said that it seems like he had a triggered infection and he wasnt infected by shroom or nocturna wallet
