Just kiddin, welcome.

More pools is good, as miners can (and hopefully do!) setup failover pools in their configs.....

coinium will also have a pool for aliencoin.

quite busy these days working on a custom frontend for all of our pools Smiley so it takes time before i put up new pools Smiley

A quick tip for all miners tonight:

TRY SOLO FIRST !

This thing is getting a reject - orphaned festival, exect pools to break down in the beginning with 30 secs blocktime.

If you mine solo, add --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1 to you cgminer.exe, it reduces the rejected and looks for new blocks superfast.

We have set checkpoints to hopefully resolve this issue, but thanks for getting this out there Smiley

Looking forward to the launch! Aliens are landing! WHO WILL BE ABDUCTED AND WHO WILL STAND AND FIGHT!!

Your pool is the best of all ones, I keep mining LPC,EAC, and few other coins with You. I will try solo this time, just to be sure:
I need to start wallet on a machine that I'm mining with config file from #1 post. Do You think thoose ad nodes and port are correct?
Then I just need to start bat file like this? Where do I enter my wallet address to receive coins when solo mine?

Cgminer.exe -o 127.0.0.1:4242 -u user -p x --scrypt --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1 -I 20 -g 1 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 32765 --no-submit-stale   -l 5 --auto-fan  -g 1 --gpu-fan 40-90 --gpu-powertune 30 --temp-target 88 --temp-overheat 93 --temp-cutoff 95 --temp-hysteresis 3 -v 1 --lookup-gap 2

Nice artwork and logo... but did anybody believe, that people outside this forum will ever want to pay with an aliencoin? I don´t think so. Just one more altcoin with a funny name.

I need a little bit more to set my rigs to this.

Thanks for the reply, I would of said the same thing about the name "Alienware" but now look how successful they are with that name. Aslong as the name is promoted in a professional manner then i think its perfect Smiley. The future is unknown.

The website, will be up and running shortly.. The coin is new so the community is small. Hopefully with the release of this coin it can build a great loving community Smiley

Take your seats ladies and gentleman & lets get ready to capture these small green smelly slimey fellas Wink

Best regards,

Is there any added-value why people would choose this coin other than the fancy pictures?

I'm able to get some pretty good hash into this, but people need a reason..

its a coin made with love, and its no generator, and its no coinye hype, and its no animal.

reasons enough?  Cheesy
