I just fished 150  457 historical IPs out of my logs for the client to try connecting with, but I'm not hopeful of finding any life. Even 192.241.136.248 seems to have dropped off now.

OTOH, after my test blocks in January 2014, a couple of months later, someone else mined two more...



edit: Running for 10 hours, no connections found on any of those 457 IPs. Closing the client again.

Anyone for tennis? It's been another year, and I still have only a single peer (data2.coinchoose.com). I'm killing the client, unless someone else wants to join the party. I guess this coin is dead, but maybe, someone is out there...

Noticed that for another coin data2.coinchoose.com had a lower starting height, so it's possible that isn't a full node and the network has split... with the tiny offshoot being myself and coinchoose.

If anyone is still running this coin, please give me some IPs to connect to, or alternatively add 203.20.114.252 to your client.

Is this coin still alive? At the moment I'm only connected to a single peer, 192.241.136.248 / data2.coinchoose.com.

We're both at block height 22514, which was generated nearly 4 months ago. Wondering if the network simply died at that point, or it has forked. Trying a bit of mining now to see if I can generate a block.

And it worked... 4 months between blocks???

Following up my earlier message, profitability on coinchoose rose even higher after I posted: the largest figure I saw was 9557%. That kind of profit figure is well into impossibru territory, which may explain why NuCoin seems to have disappeared from coinchoose. Difficulty was low, but actually finding and CLAIMING a block was pretty hard work...

Anyone else having trouble getting a deposit in coins-e?

Noticed an hour or two ago on coinchoose that Nucoin went to 2395% profit - yep, there is no decimal point in that number - and since then the reported network hash rate has roughly tripled. So this may breathe some new life into it after all. (I hadn't even heard of Nucoin until I saw it on coinchoose)

Still closing? Looks like you got all the hash... so much so that at this diff... my 7950 was pulling 666KH/s and all stales and orphans.

EDIT: Within 3-4 minutes of joining the pool and getting a payout... three things happened.

First... payout sent and has since never arrived.
Second, I noticed several miners on the hashrate board drop completely and then reconnect later... some did not... which leads me to the last...
Third, Within 10 minutes of syncing the client, and the 3-4 of being on the pool... my machine became completely unable to resolve the dencoinpools URL at port 3330. I can reach the site... but I am unable to connect at all now.

I have tried many times tto reconnect, reboots and power cycles all around... and am scanning my machine now (though I scanned it last night and it was clean) so if something pops up... I will let you know. Not feeling great about this wallet... and possibly Den has something or someone messing with his pools... idk... not blaming Den of course... just a warning to everyone.

EDIT2: Found nothing significant... just some browser detections for tracking cookies... made a second worker on the pool and tested and still would not connect... Until about 60 seconds ago... all of a sudden no more unable to resolve URL message and I am mining again.

Now nethash is skyrocketing lol...

The block chain doesn't seem to be moving nuc.dencoinpools.com will be closing down soon.... Please attempt to move your coins out after all of the withdraw requests are complete I will mine on it to move the chain enough to put them on an exchange.
