1]  Implement Ed25519 signature in JavaScript  =>  Users do not need to install a client ..
- doesn't user in any case need to install (and run) a client in order to make some profit from PoS mining with his stake?

Good point.  I think after the launch I will create a Google Cloud version of the client to remove such obstacle as necessity to run software locally or care about hosting.

Interesting proof of concept.

At least you can save the world by reducing the amount of electricity for miming.

You don't need to mine Nxt.  It's 100% proof-of-stake coin.

UPDATE

Implemented bootstrapping and longest chain selection.
Max number of transactions per block is limited to 10 (to test transaction selection algorithm).
Added a bar with advanced features buttons (to show future features to those who don't read this forum).

I am faced with the dilemma

1]  Implement Ed25519 signature in JavaScript  =>  Users do not need to install a client, they will open a browser and connect to someone's else client available on the Internet  =>  Number of peers will be small
2]  Leave Ed25519 signature on back-end side  =>  Users need to install a client  =>  Number of peers will be much greater

Any suggestions?
IMO user friendlyness is more important. If a user doesn't need to install anything, that's great. Only extremely user friendly products achieve wide adoption. Eventually, greater userbase most likely will result in greater number of fullnodes.

Nxt requires 10 times less bandwidth and storage.  It uses signing algorithm which is faster than Bitcoin's one.  Thus it can scale to a higher degree than Bitcoin can.  There is no an implemented decentralized solution of the VISA volume problem yet.  Should we sit and do nothing waiting for it?

At least u stick to the reality, I'm tired of geniuses who state they can solve any problem.

Likewise, I'm tired of "geniuses" that state solved or solvable problems can not be...if I had listened to every naysayer that tooted that frame of mind at me I wouldn't of achieve a 10th of what I have in my life....so I'll just carry on breaking the "rules" shall I?

Then whats the point? Without the ability to take on the status quo, this will be just another pump and dump scamcoin bullshit.

This VISA scale thing should belong to other thread, if you don't mind.

Handling large transaction volumes aren't a concern for you?  Oh dear....

I meant you shouldn't derail this thread.

So all the scared emunie trolls are here  Roll Eyes

All?? lol  I was merely pointing out that $1500 to $2m in 6 months in such a saturated alt-coin marketplace ain't going to happen, not in that timeframe without bringing some serious minerals to the table.

Huh at this place sometimes, you guys flame the hell out of stuff that is only marginally far-fetched, yet jump in the corner of something that is total absurdity.

Plus, scared?? Did you not read what we are packing?  Roll Eyes
Hell I buy almost any coin, yours too for sure  Cool

I am in a troll mood/mode don't take me very seriously  Tongue

Solid facts, but, you don't need to see all the data, at all nodes at the same time to achieve VISA scale secure processing of transactions. So only 2 of the 3 being possible as Brewer suggests is sufficient to get the job done.
