How much NXT needed to get POS block in 5-10 days?
And how can I buy NXT?
The more you have, the higher the chance that you mine a block Smiley

If you want I can sell you 100k for 0.1 BTC

There is this thread for trading Nxt atm: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/trading-thread-for-nxt-descendant-of-bitcoin-345336
I personally will sell a small portion of my Nxt stake at the base 1Nxt=0.000001 price at this stage!
Go to that thread or pm me directly if you are interested to buy Smiley
PS: I already donated 50000 Nxt to the fisrt bid poster there Wink

Since many Windows users are not used to running command line software, we should make the installation a bit easier for them. I decided to package Nxt using the Launch4j wrapper, http://launch4j.sourceforge.net/ which creates a single windows executable out of a jar file. To run it, the user just double clicks the downloaded exe file. If there is no JRE installed, launch4j will automatically open a browser to http://java.com , allowing the user to download and install java. Nxt runs in a console window, to stop it just close the window or click Ctrl-C inside it. All the *.nxt files are created in the directory where nxt.exe was saved, so to avoid cluttering your Desktop or Downloads folder, create an empty Nxt folder and put nxt.exe inside it before clicking on it.

Here is version 0.2.9:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/2fz4pc87dvrxlxr/nxt.exe
sha256sum: 883b4e592f8b5aee45294ab26e6c90439d93e482867ab0213fb95dd66df76895

I couldn't find a way to make Launch4j automatically start a browser to http://localhost:7875 after launching the java process, so for now it has to be done separately by the user.

Edit: Updated to version 0.2.9.

"C:\Users\Pascal\Desktop\Nxt>java -cp Nxt.zip Nxt
[2013-11-25 10:50:46.029] Nxt 0.2.6 started.2"

So now I tryed the new version and nothing happens. The only output I get in the console is that above, and in the GUI it is stuck at block 0 and 4 peers  Huh

Delete all *.nxt files and try again. Make sure ur computer time is correct.

I did delete all *.nxt files and my time is synced with the internet time

It's networking issue related to Java itself then. Try to switch from Sun Java to Open JDK or back if u have Open JDK installed.

Not sure how to check.. but in Blocks it says the latest block was 6193779673493114710 with a height of 691

Delete all *.nxt files and make sure ur node connected to 88.198.210.245, then try again. If it doesn't work, PM me with ur account id.

I did that, and now my NXT from the new account is gone - but the original account has the 2000 amount back, and transactions show that I never sent 2000 anywhere.

Edit: oh, no, wait.. now it does. It just sent the 2000. I guess I needed to download the blockchain again.

Here is how to remove the curse:
1. Stop client.
2. Delete all *.nxt.
3. Start client.
4. Make sure it writes "0.2.6" version.
I have done all these..

I was able to send 2000 nxt to a new account. But I'm unable to send it back to the original account.
I've tried lowering the amount to 1000, as well as only having the sending account open, but no luck.

What the latest block number and id on that computer?
