It may be too much to ask for but is it possible to implement an new algorithm. Because the new algorithm's always attracted investors & miners.
it is the general idea to step away from scrypt... so another algo would already be good.say maxvall and peanutpower... could we do already another algo change with degreased supply?
how about a 5% daily decrease in reward?
that would not be drastic for hashrate and after a month we would be at 72 Nyan's reward

When changing the algo look at Groestl, it works great with nVidia and AMD.

nyancoin (the first licenced cryptocurrency) is in need of a new developer team.
what we want?
* we need an experienced team (no newbie names).
* the algo needs to be changed. some time ago there was a vote and the community voted (around 60%) for a hybrid POW/POS system. Is this possible? 50% / 50% (never 51% attack). For the POW everybody was in for X11 (until they discovered no nvidia support) so maybe something else (hefty?)
* new wallets (if the change has happend)
* a plan to get things going again.
* new website
what we have to offer.
* the original nyan-cat creator has approved the community take-over [ link ]
* still some alive persons in the community
* a coin that is already listed on cryptsy
