Opal was once in Polo and Bittrex, it was listed on Cryptopia somewhere in the summer of 2016.

Further development like new wallets, new roadmap (and maybe masternodes) could mean Opal reaching a few dollars easily

There was actually an article that showed some use case(i don't remember wich country, Netherlands or Denmark) where some dude did some "dirty business" using Opal, there's gotta be a link somewhere in these 200 pages Tongue

Is the project abandoned by the developer? The project has been developed for several years, and it can not get the color, and the heat is not.

what do you mean bro? i think this project is stable right now .

Hence why I ask my questions above.

It seems the consensus is that Opal needs new devs and a new team and so forth.

If that is not the case, then please ignore my post.

Hi All,

I have been notified by a colleague of mine (a heavy hitter in the Crypto Scene) that there seems to be some interest our Team and Business may have here.

May I ask, without going through hundreds of pages, what has been happening here, what is the deal with Opal, and what does community/network need in regard to the coin itself?

I ask this with the promise of a possible further interest in the coin, development, infrastructure, and ultimately ownership. Though looking at the block explorer, there are some MAJOR holders of the coin.

Thanks,

Hey all,

I (coolcash) is still here and looking for a dev. Noticing there is some action on cryptopia with trading.  Ping me here or I prefer on IRC if you would like to discuss any future plans.

Thanks,

CoolCash

Looks like someone sold 932747 opal for 2.38 BTC, there was a matched sell order at 256 sats, most probably a whale

Which exchange was that?

Is OPAL on BarterDEX yet?

are you comeback now?

I will still be supporting it for the foreseeable future. Like I have mentioned, I am looking for a dev to assist. No one has come forward yet.

To note, OPAL has touched 900 sat over the weekend Smiley

Thanks to all who still support this coin.

CoolCash

Opal is a great coin, I hold some, like 15K, too bad that it  was abandoned by the devs, as for the dev you search for I don't think you'll find one to come and work for free at least if he is not holding any OPAL.

Yobit's wallet is still in maintenance, there was a nice, juicy sell order for 390 sats there  Cry

Anyway, website looks very good, supply is low, and there seems to be a high interest for privacy coins these days (zoin, spectrecoin, aeon, stealthcoin)

The owner of the coin is willing to pass the coin on to someone who can continue development.

Actually this is good news sir! Now we as community we can find a dev or  more devs and buit up a team.
