You can find more about IPFS (interplanetary file system) on http://ipfs.io/

IPFS is very cool technology and OPUS will be HUGE.
it will attract more investors after the development of the said apps has been done, I'm sure the dev team will be focus more on how to make this
project usable and a long term success, I'm excited to see what would be the great outcome, good luck team.

voise (vsm) clone

From what I know Opus had already a working beta while vsm doesn't at the time of their ICO. As seen on their roadmap they are still on alpha testing this year. Which points to the fact the vsm only hit the market first but not the very first music-oriented project out there.
Their token also seem to be aimed only to be listed and used on exchanges.

While Opus tokens gives it's holders the ability to vote on the OpusDAO. Important marketing and development decisions are made by the Opus DAO which is voted on every month. Each vote is weighted by the number of OPT the voter holds, having more OPT will enable you to have a greater say on the direction of the Opus project.

You'll find more info about OPT on the Whitepaper

Opus; Music decentralized. Crowdsale LIVE!
voise (vsm) clone

Hey,

let me copy our previous response regarding the same type of accusation:

"Sorry to say this, but to call Voise VSM a decentralized music sharing platform is completely incorrect; They store everything on their central server.

1.Voise raised their money with no product.
Opus is 3 steps ahead. We raised a round of VC funding this January, and now we have a working beta and a demonstrable product.

2. Voise, Is simply a coin that can only be used on their website. That's it. It's basically bitcoin with a different name.
Opus is an entire music sharing infrastructure. We use IPFS and Ethereum such that all songs and metadata data are stored decentrally and rapidly on the IPFS swarm and Ethereum.
We are also going to release APIs for third party player developers to create their own Opus players, ensuring decentralize in every aspect of the stack.

If you have more questions regarding the technical development, check our Github or ask us on our slack: http://slack.opus-foundation.org/"

UniDApp - it's DeFi time!
I see large sites like coinmarketcap or ethscan appear to have this currency. You are very focused on advertising and marketing. I hope in the future the project will develop and attract large investors. I will monitor this market more

Opus; Music decentralized. Crowdsale LIVE!
This looks very interesting product, finally a decent ICO/Crowdsale from a long time.
What about people who want to distribute their music for free on the platform, and are the songs downloadable or somehow protected?
I think you should introduce this on some bigger music conference, because at the end of the day the crypto community is really small compared to rest of the world.
This would be a great way to introduce cryptocurrencies for mainstream, because everyone likes music Wink

decentralized music sharing has already been solved.. BitTorrent.

However the artists cannot really make any money with that way. BitTorrent is fine for distributing files otherwise, but not as a music platform.

Hey,

Yes - Absolutely! Artists can upload the songs to the platform and just set the price to 0 if they wish to. In that case, it will be completely free to listen to them. The encryption system will offer the same protection to artists.

Speaking of the music festivals, this is a great idea, and would be part of the marketing budget in the money we raise.

We are starting a bigger marketing campaign in the next week. We are planning to introduce the product when we finish the mobile apps which are currently under development. We also have some plans in the coming weeks with a pilot band. Keep tuned!

This team attaches great importance to publicity and marketing. If you look at it this way, friends will talk about it in a few days. But do you have any technical value? Have you formed APP yet?

Actually we are mostly developers and programmers and you can check all of our technical details on github. We have a working WebAPP running on Ethereum and IPFS opus-foundation.com/demo.html and we are planning the mobileAPP including wireframes which we hope to release soon. Our ultimate goal is to reach a mainstream audience, but before that we need to make sure the UX is as smooth as possible such that it will be as easy to use as central platforms such as Spotify.

Are we need to submitte the WEEK 1 of twitter/facebook bounty on 17 Jully Monday?

Yes by end of July 17 to quality for that week's stakes
And can we do it earlier?Or only on Monday?

You can do any anytime before July 17. Team members will verify all the participants on July 17th for week one and record it in the relevant spreadsheet.

Where are you planning added exchange after ico over?

As OPT (Opus tokens) are ERC20 compliant Ethereum tokens, it will be tradeable within 1-2 days after the crowdsale is over. We are currently investigating adding OPT to major exchanges such as bittrex.
