that's why people starts to spread negative words about opus so they buy opus more at low price
and after app and web player launch. sell opus tokens and get profit in a very short term
i think opus community is sensible and they not gonna sell opus tokens at current price
only 6 million market cap right now
i am sure that after platform and app release market cap gonna more then 100 million in few weeks
~ Testnet App release this May. 1 Month free trial offered. Opus team plans to iron out the bugs then release to mainnet.
~ An issued statement that a new exchange listing should commence by the end of Q2. They have since ignored any questions to elaborate further on this. No idea if this is feasible for the project at this point.
~ A recent Q&A mentions that users can obtain Opus by creating playlists. Artists receive Opus for music sales. No mention of buying/obtaining OPT from exchanges.
~ Both the Binance and Bittrex twitter accounts follow @opusfoundation, their official twitter account. A good sign but nothing has come from it.
~ A marketing blitz did occur during the ICO phase. They have since toned down completely. The CEO Bokang Jia is entirely absent as a public presence. Just speculation, but an MIA Bokang Jia May be because of increased ICO pressure from regulatory bodies.
~ The COO Mateusz Mach has had success with funding and app development in the past ie. the funding and development of his mobile app Five App – a sign language Messenger. The app is available on Apple's App Store but is currently missing from the Google Play Store.
~ Researching Five App reveals some great marketing articles related to Mach and Five App. Articles and video interviews on high level websites. Great exposure for Five App and a great sign that SEO can be implemented for Opus as they make a marketing push.
~ Opus had a highly successful ICO that raised millions. I would have to go research how much exactly, but it was well into the millions and that was BEFORE the insane bull run of 2017.
The team is definitely treating the token as a straight up utility component of the project. Make of that what you will. This will change abruptly if added to a new exchange. Speculators of OPT will then get their shot at establishing a fair value for their coin. Exchange exchange exchange exchange exchange exchange exchange.
I know the team is tired of hearing about it but that is really a key component to the success of the token but not so much the Opus project. So if the team is unwilling to get listed, I'm sure that the whale holders of OPT wouldn't mind pulling a few strings to at least get Opus up and onto Livecoin, Coinexchange, Mercatox, Cryptopia or one other such lesser exchange. Anything would be better than HitBTC who refuses to address the problem of the OPT-BTC trading pair limit of 6 decimal places. Time will tell.
