I'm looking forward to seeing how many real people signed up!
Me too!

Total non-sockpuppets: 1270
Note: A "non-sockpuppet" is an entry which the system has not detected and flagged as a...you guessed it, sockpuppet. Simply put these 1270 entries have seemingly followed the rule about only 1 stake per household in the OP.Of these 1270,
927 have verified their BTT ID up to this moment.
This is the list of people we are to go through manually starting now. Before we get an ID verified we assume the entry was made using another person's BTT ID. We will decide how long the other 343 will have to send me a PM. I've sent everyone a reminder over email but might do it again later this week. For now, it's still all good to send me PM if you want to be verified.
So to summarize:We currently got a list of 927 entries to go through. This is what the final list will be based on. More entries may be added before the final list is completed. This is because more people might verify their BTT ID. The reason we go through these entries manually is to spot anything suspicious, like two or more entries sharing 99% identical data. We do not yet know exactly how long this extra filtering process may take.
PM me for any issues or questions you might have.
Cheers!
Well done Mac Red! Thank you so much for all your great work
When I posted my original bounty thread for someone to design a webapp registration system for Kora I really didn't know what to expect, but you have done a marvellous job, and I'm very confident in the 'integrity' of the Kora stakeholder list we will end up with! I feel very privileged to have worked with you on this part of Kora and I'm very grateful to you for your excellent contribution. I could not have gotten this far without you!
I hope all those who registered on the registration webapp but have so far not confirmed via PM to Mac Red do so asap. It would be great to reach at least 1000 confirmed stakeholders!
Mac Red and I will work our way through the stakeholder list looking for any anomalies, and once we're satisfied we will publish our completed stakeholder list in some form (without email address or other sensitive information).
We will have a list of NXT addresses, so everyone will be free to analyse those if they wish. come-from-beyond offered us 10K NXT to perform a taint analysis on the NXT addresses, so if that offer still stands we can proceed with that after we publish the stakeholder list.
Once everything is finalised with the stakeholder list we will move quickly to distribution of the Kora stakes on the NXT AE. I have made contact with some experienced NXT users who might be able to devise an automated process to distribute the Kora tokens. That would be far quicker & prevent errors.
We still have some issues to resolve:
1- what to do with the left over stakes
2- the final Kora coin supply
Once those two details are resolved we will be able to go ahead and calculate the size of each stake, and then distribute the Kora tokens to the stakeholders.
I have no exact time estimate for that, but I'm hopeful we can be finished in a couple of weeks. The collective focus will hopefully move to other areas now, like logo designs, and the website and project documentation that nioccoin is currently working on.
I have seen a few people suggest we change the name to something else. The reason I chose 'Kora' is rather obvious, but I like the name (despite the obvious risk of confusion with Qora), BUT, I am very open to suggestions from community members who have any ideas for a 'killer' coin name. As always, everyone is more than welcome to speak their mind and express themselves here
