One thing which everyone should keep remember about Oyster is they have connected blockchain technology with traditional for this platform. Project is still at early stage that's why people aren't catching the idea but when fiat gateway will be fully integrated and functional with goals in pipeline it will be available in clearly visible shape.

Last information I got from the project is that the release was postponed because IOTA layer was not ready. I follow IOTA and as far as I know there was not much progress yet. Was there therefore a new date for Oyster release pulished yet?

I do not see where is the information about "listing coming within 10 days". I see only they are working now for the listing.

Oyster continues to aggressively pursue high quality exchange listings. We have signed a definitive agreement with a Top-20 volume exchange. We will have further information regarding the listing date and exchange after we complete technical testing. We plan to have additional announcements regarding listings later this month.

For sure. Video is an obvious area to focus on and I know it's on your radar and you guys are making all the right strategic calls to hit the end goal.
I was also interested to hear from Chris' recent podcast that you guys are seeking to provide revenue on par with current ad sources.. tall order but sounds good. That will get some attention.

So you'd have very public handles and handles that can be transmitted with this second layer of security. Many systems have a second layer redundancy like this. Pin on hardware wallets, 2fa on sign in, extra password. Some folks might not be happy if their handle is somehow exposed and there's nothing further they had to protect or remove that data. Most folks will probably be storing these handles online but a passphrase is typically memorized. This second layer could even be a password from a hardware wallet. I think we discussed this before.. it would ensure privacy, decentralization, and that access requires local hardware. Can't beat that.

It would be neat oyster had some kind of (optional) passphrase based handle encryption built in to the front end. I'm imagining a scenario where you want to upload something privately and in a decentralized way, then share that handle with someone but be assured that if the handle itself is intercepted it's of little use. Like you can optionally enter a passphrase or something to encrypt or decrypt a handle from the browser. A shared secret you could pass in person that's easier to memorize and something you can choose.

First of all to know Oyster team didn't overrule but did exactly what they were demanded by community in connection with listing on Huobi @cr1pto. The cost was too much for such exchange and when those funds can be used for better exchange why to pay huge amount ? By the way new roadmap looks promising and having focus on future potential that is best thing. It is good way to let people have access to future plans by going to have real time experience about retrieving files from the Oyster store.
like I said before, the team did the right thing by following what we, the community, wanted.
When PRL really takes of, Huobi will "beg" fro PRL to be listed there

This project has few months of existence and didn't make even one year and has built basic infrastructure and platform to introduce many things over it. If we watch roadmap that gives you better idea that real development with those planed features are yet to come. Hurrying will not bring success near but will longer your way to get your goals of getting significant profit from any project which is underdevelopment.

This is another interesting feature added to this platform I think this project will grow very healthy as like they have interesting plan to implement unique tools there.

I never feel boring whenever read,listen or watch something explaining about Oyster protocol. After started hearing I couldn't stop pausing as the discussion went very interesting from the beginning as Chris Garner started to introduce himself including background again. He has vision and understand fully what is trying to be built here and this is important to be kept in mind.

First of all you should edit the link there is space in last word and it make it hard to get access there. That is impressive roadmap and in long term this will get succeed to take place on very strong position. I wish PRL will success and it will become more valuable in future.

I think the issue was rather around the 2 million that Oyster would have to pay to get listed. And the management team decided it wouldn't be worth it. I agree with that, besides what is the community vote good for it in the end again money decides which token get's listed?
Thats true.
If the team would overrule the community vote, that would destroy their credibility and would mean a huge setback

Even if Oyster wins, they probably still would need to pay the listing fee. Was'nt that the reason they did not get listed on Hadax?
Every exchange is finding ways to make huge profits for just replacing the banks...
