Even if Oyster wins, they probably still would need to pay the listing fee. Was'nt that the reason they did not get listed on Hadax?

We succeed to make this happen or not that isn't important more important is to show the community strength. We should let the Binance feel our voice and support for Oyster. We are not impressing others with current numbers of votes and need more to do. Binance will bring oyster back to tack more easily if this happens.

It's enough. It's like with every other file hoster. As long as nobody knows it they don't have to do anything. Once notified they must act. No big deal at all tbh.

Monero openly targets illegal users and they're a $2B coin dominating the security crypto space..
Not to keep comparing against Sia, but Sia has been around much much longer and is decentralized as well.  If they were going to get sued for similiar things, it would've happened.

That's very cool indeed. Do you have any links to the RollingStone article? That should be shared also on social media.

You can retrieve a file from www.oysterstorage.com or with help of telegram bot @pearlbot :

Downloaded article from the www.oysterstorage.com and read it with the great pleasure!

Learned many new things about Oyster meshnet like that "applications that require besteffort-basic tracking, transmission and processing such as chat apps
(Telegram, Slack), video feeds, telephone calls etc are better suited for the Oyster meshnet." rather than on the Ethereum network.

And really, Oysters team is unstoppable in the terms of the speed of development, they`ve done in the short terms. As was mentioned in the article, since the ICO they have gone from zero lines of code to the mainnet minimum viable product in less than 5 months which is an unbelievable achievement.

Now these latest developments are giving exciting feelings seeing Oyster Protocol getting mentioned in Rollingstone and one of the top 20 exchange where trading opportunities will be available by the end of this month. This is separate then community voting of Binance. I will do agree that we should deal with this project as beta as many things have yet to come in future.

Some people were constantly saying that if price somehow fall at 4000 satoshi range they will pick up more tokens. I hope they will not miss this chance because I don't think market will let the price go further down. It has already seen bottom and will the next bounce of Bitcoin all these market will be showing rebounding again. I can't buy more else was picking surely more Pearl Oyster tokens.

Oyster has started from 200 sats. Theoretically, the price can go down at 500-700 sats and no one can know whether will it be.

The point is that unlike most of cryptos oysters should be used for paying a service in the real world where market prices exist - and according to market prices for those services oysters should be much more expensive than now. I don't understand why that's not the case yet.

Well, I think the reason is because Oyster is still in beta stage and has limits for commercial usage (ie. 5 MB per file limit). Plus, in the beta stage Oyster storage is free so there's really no need for anyone who wants to use Oyster to purchase PRLs. I guess when the project gets out of the beta phase and they start charging for the storage, the price of the PRL token will rise. I'm sure.

I'm eather sure of that too, that's why I'm holding all my coins through this bear market. I sense that at some point PRLs will experience one of those epical rallies which people will remember for a long time.

Why? The market value of PRL stands. You could just go to the free market then and buy PRLs instead of using our gateway if the difference is e.g. 80%+.
For that to make sense we must deny any payment but our own fiat gateway PRL payment.

I have also money on the table, I am also invested and I have also (a lot) of time spent here. It's ok to hammer, I appreciate it even - but at some point there should be an end, don't you agree? (Even tho considering that we are basically all on the same front - but with the difference to say that a third party gateway doesn't really hurt us - in fact it helps - because it would create brider adoption)

I think a third party gateway could seriously hurt early on. I won't debate that further.
If this risk materializes I will gladly point out that it was easily avoidable.

A couple of days ago the founder sold 1.2m prl (which is more than 1% of total supply) because "he owed someone a favor"

Is this true? If so I'm out, selling for further development is fine. Not personal issues.
