You guys are funny. All this talk about how good they are at marketing and how because of the celebrity endorsements this will surely do great, but no one seems to care that THEY HAVE NO CODE. People are spending over $1 a coin for something with zero proof of concept and a team that bans people for even asking about the status of their platform. They released the code for an ETH smart contract and when people pointed out that this is not what they were promised, they were banned from the telegram and their questions were removed. Not a single team member has answered anything on this forum since they started the crowdsale and they locked their slack. Where are they? Why not answer any of these questions?

It's pretty incredible that so many people are willing to overlook all of these glaring problems just because there is a celebrity involved.

In where in there 109 pages have they promised to deliver anything before it's ready? It would help your case if you quoted the stuff that you are referring to. Now you just sound like someone who is trying to fud the project.

This marketing approach is ok with "fishes" but whales don't give a f about celebrities, they just want either a top product or a huge ROI

It would work if the celebs have money invested in the project.

why its need celebs? for promoting this program?

Always great to have celebs behind an ICO.
More publicity so more investors Smiley, celebs have a community around them and to let that community know about crypto's is always great.

Exactly, it's not only very good for Paragon but generally also. The more people learn to know crypto the better. Once we reach critical mass, it's absolutely no longer possible to shut crypto down.

just remember that paragon may have celebrity endorsement, but every other crypto doesn't. save maybe for bitcoin and ether.
if the project involved celebrities - it means that the project is good,
because the opinion of the celebrity is authoritative! popularity always leads success

Xd I still don't know why people are discussing about the celebrity thing, we already know that is good for the project because it will attract some investors, whales don't care, we know that, so let's just move on and talk about another thing, like security, some of you already know how the CEO of Paragon was kind of hacked weren't you, her mobile contractor was convinced by a hacker that she was her, and so got access to all the data she has there, fortunately, she contacted with google and got her account again, but that shows us how easily one can access your information if you are not careful, so how secure is your information, wallets, account, etc? lets hope all the other members of the Paragon Team are now taking actions not to be hacked.

Celebrities are great thing but I like the fact that you have commercials on coinmarketcap and other cryptocurrency related sites. Thanks to that more people will know about this project

Yes celebrity is very nice for the visibility of the project, Paragon also has a huge visibility with a lot of article, its one of the best ico for the end of this year and a lot of people want to join it. I'm impatient to see the platofrom be launched and see Paragon become a major actor of the cannabis industry.

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
With or without celebrity involved in an ICO, if the managing team behind knows how to market their own project no doubt it will easily funded. Previous ICOs like Tezos, NEO and OmiseGO were never endorsed by any celebrity but all them have a very successful crowdfunding campaign.
Celebrities involved in an ICO are a plus.
However, this is better than without any celebrities involved.

celebrities just bring in speculative short term investors, not real investors that hodl

Celebrities won't make experience investors buy more, that is only for the common people, or the ones that like said celebrity, there are always people that will invest only in it, so why not have them? it won't damage the project, jut doesn't put a bad one, that can be really shameful.
Most of investors are casuals, even here, in crypto space... I seriously doubt if average crypto investor read whitepapers and do he's own research
I agree with you, as we see in the PARAGON ICO have more than 30 thousand participants! this shows how many people believe in project,
and really want to develop this industry !
Almost half of the people in my neighborhood belief in cannabis, except some older people, the only one who don't want it are our governments.
So it will be a success, because trillion of people are standing behind cannabis, thats the truth.

Hilton is far from the first celebrity to hype ICOs. Boxing star Floyd Mayweather and American rapper The Game have touted the diverse digital token sales over the past month alone.

The Game has been promoting Paragon quite a bit. Which is one of the reasons why i'm feeling good about this project. Not cuz of The Game, but because the team knows how to do marketing very well. And in order for a Cannabis project to succeed, i think marketing will be important to achieve adoption.

Good marketing isn't always a key to success. It's a key to funding. However that said, I do think Paragon will turn out to be a successful company.
They are a lot in the media and Jessica is going to a lot of Blockchain based events.
I would like to see one of her talks though.
Anyone got a link to a presentation?

You're right that marketing is a key to funding. But it's also a key to adoption. Of course the product that the celebrities are promoting needs to be good, but so far Paragon has looked very professional to me. Especially if you compare it to other 'potcoins', they are in a whole different league and also have a different objective then potcoins.

Indeed, this whole project is in a complet different league then most of the ICO nowadays.
Even if you are not interested in Cannabis Industry you saw this project, the marketing of Paragon is so great!

Keep this up team!

Public figure like celebrity could give a positive impact to an ICO but not always. It's just a plus value to ICO.  When a celebrity involved in a project, it can give more confident to some people.

I think approach will be a standard in icos of the future, it makes sense when you think about it, they are tweeting to millions of fans that are listening, probably good thing for the cryptocurrency as whole.
