It's definitely a different experience, but the wallet is actually pretty intuitive once you get used to it.

We have 2 calls from users that they allegedly opened a wallet, generated an address
and the next time open a wallet, this account is not apear in wallet.
As we managed to find out, they run the wallet directly from the archive, without unpacking it.
It is unacceptable.
In this case, all working folders were created in temporary directories.

Never, I repeat Never, do not run the wallet directly from the archive.
Only by unpacking it you can use it.
If someone does not listen to me and will start from the archive, then look for your files somewhere here

or if you want just send coins from your address you can use https://www.myetherwallet.com like webwallet

if you not set pass, you can recover account, but if you forgot pass you can`t do anything just remember pass.

run new wallet.
