If you do a little research, you will see that the exchange that takes place in a first hundred on the Coinmarketcap has a minimum fee 1.5btc and more..more.

Did you copy keystore from old wallet to new wallet?
If you download only wallet application and replace old wallet this is one, but if you download full archive than you should copy keystore folder from old wallet to new wallet.

A password account must be entered at the time the account is created.
If you really created an account without a password, you can try to import the keystore from account into MyEtherWallet and unlock the account without the password. And then set the password and download the keystore for later use.
