I agree the mascot of penguincoin has massive potential and will look great commercially which is easily marketed. I can see Penguincoin being plastered everywhere as easy payment methods for things like cinema, coffee shops, fast food, but like the dev said starting on small scale within our depth for the moment.

Since the price is this low, it'll be better if we focus on a specific sector and then expand slowly. We have to first determine what penguin coin stands for or theme of the coin... Once we fixed on the theme, we need to start some projects according to that theme..  That'll help getting some name for the penguin brand.. Something like PETA or teaming up with PETA(if possible) will be ideal, since this is an animal based coin...  Stand for a specific theme and do charities/projects, according to that.. This coin has huge potential and a nice mascot.. If we plan right, the only way is up.

I think the idea of adopting some penguins was a good idea. The link to the WWF adoption packages was a good idea because people love penguins.

Penguincoin is a community coin and there are a lot of views and opinions being shared which is good. There are members who are putting their time and skills into making things for penguincoin which is appreciated and is worthwhile. Penguincoin is only just starting its journey into becoming a crypto currency and we need to set out some goals and directions in which penguincoin should progress forward.

What would we like to see next?

I agree that charities are not enough but it is something that i will continue to work for and will be donating some of the premine funds towards that cause.

I will be making contact with certain merchandise stores which relate to penguincoin and will be looking to get Peng accepted as payment methods on a small scale. These things takes time and it has to be worked right even just to get a reply. Positive media attention would be a great help but this isn't going to happen until something great has been done.

The more ideas and projects we can work on as a community the more chance we have.

I have tried for well over a week to get the people in that room on freenode to listen to me.  The room isn't registered at all so no OPs are in place.  No OPs can be in place without everyone leaving the room and the founder joining while chanserv gives them OPs.  All of this information came from a freenode staff member.  There were 11 of us and I had it down to 2, but they wouldn't budge.  So, I gave up.

I think it will be nice to have web IRC channel, too. It must be connected with the forum to force people to register there and if he have a channel we can communicate more easily.
