ok, no jokes: I am not the developer of PieCoin but it's true: I care about the development!
because this Coin is really great! The chain works for about 6 months now!
But we need more network activity!
Linux and Raspberry Pi Qt-Wallets: wnode.net (they should establish a good network connection directly)
Windows Wallet: http://www.piecoin.tech/downloads/PieCoin-qt.zip
Mac OS Qt-Wallet: http://www.piecoin.tech/downloads/PieCoin-Qt-OSX-v1001.dmg
If you are running the Windows or Mac OS Wallet and you get connection problems (network not synchronizing), then do the following:
Select 'Debug Window' out of the 'Help' Menu at the Menu Bar.
At this Window, select the 'Console' Tab at the top. Now you can enter text at a line at the bottom.
Copy/Paste these lines to the console (line by line):
addnode 82.165.162.27 onetry
addnode 82.165.162.27 add
addnode 81.89.100.38 onetry
addnode 81.89.100.38 add
addnode 107.170.196.135 onetry
addnode 107.170.196.135 add
addnode 62.138.3.214 onetry
addnode 62.138.3.214 add
addnode 149.56.154.75 onetry
addnode 149.56.154.75 add
This will give you full connection to the PieCoin network!
It would be helpful for PIE if anyone who holds them would run a wallet at it's own - just for the purpose of a stable, growing network.
Windows and Mac OS Wallet Clients will be updated soon at wnode.net - the above procedure to improve the connections won't be necessary after that update.
Cheers, Pikku
Have you been in touch with the dev? Why keep supporting a project if there is no news of forward progress, unless you know something the rest of us don't? Everyone seems to be staking a dead coin that might be pumped on Yobit for no reason. I also LIKED the project, I have some staking on my PosW online wallet, and the returns are EXCELLENT, but if there is no forward progress I would like to know.
**At least add a Slack channel.
