I hate to say it, but I think Poloniex is doing almost as much harm as it is good.
I know it's not their fault they're having problems, but it rocks market confidence and the low volume is just crippling PMC from reaching those high prices.
Just look how active this coin is. It's insane that we're not on a bigger exchange. The fact that we're going so strong without one just shows how incredible the potential of this coin is.
I see big things coming for PMC.

Yes, it's a shame. It's my favorite exchange with some nice security features but sadly it seems to be getting DDOS'ed a lot. I've withdrawn my BTC from there but it's the only decent market for PMC.
The site had about 500 BTC daily volume (for all coins) prior to the recent problems. 0.2% of that is a lot of cash. Should spend it on upgrades.

The admin had an exploit the other day, and now that they've fixed it, they're adding coins & trying to encourage trading to recoup their losses.
I'll update when I have more info & time

Can anybody help me out installing my QT wallet on a mac?
I have manually added a Premine folder to my Library/Application Support and used txt editor to add a premine.conf file containing:
server=1
rpcuser=theusername
rpcpassword=thepassword
rpcport=9335
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=65.167.153.125
addnode=65.167.153.115
Still it does not want to sync, saying: no block source available.....
please help.....

I was around when it launched. It's an interesting concept, but it all hinges on the advertising, which is the draw of the coin, and also its potential downfall. Perhaps if the site had an automated ad submition system or some site traffic stats, but without those it's difficult to really value it.
