I've sent you 50. We need more people like you.  Smiley

Thank you so much, very kind of you Smiley. I updated the thread. I do like the community spirit that goes with this coin. That is what could take it far.

Well, as many of you very kindly sent me coins (around 20 actually), in the spirit of giving, I bought a few more and will give 5 away per person for the first 20 posters (100 total).

I know it is not a huge giveaway but it's all I can afford, and 5 is certainly better than nothing Smiley.

If you want to donate to this giveaway so I can extend it then feel free to send your PMC to - 1NAgj9i6KenDmKjN7yegLa63eMiNPf8qYT
All donated coins will be added to the total or put towards another giveaway thread if sent after the current giveaway has finished.

Current prices are..interesting. Seems it's going up.

If the next wallet isn't going to be for a while I could go back to figuring out how to write that auto tx fee rewarder I've been talking about, so there are tx fees to mine in every block.

I have to say, the dev has done a really impressive job. Despite the nasty wallet bug, he worked hard and released a fix within a couple of days. His hard work just makes this coin even more worthwhile to hold, and I'm excited to see what future Premine has. It is genuinely unique from all the other altcoins right now, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

When it does take off and have value, the coins I have for giveaways/development/promotion/etc will hold a lot more weight. I have 2k coins for the script I hope to get working, and another 3k for those other things. When the coin goes up in price, they'll hold a lot more weight to them. JSON-RPC PHP Library I don't quite understand yet, but like anything it takes trial, patience and error when working with a new code library.

I made the update last night, all looked well, I rebooted my pc today and when I opened the wallet I got this message?

http://imgur.com/dD5VopL

What did you delete before you installed the new wallet qt?

I deleted the blocks folder and the chainstate folder, I did not have a database folder at that time. Now I do.

My balance looks correct and the last transaction looks correct.

Could be something left other in the wallet.dat from the previous chain, although I'd only be guessing. If you wanted to try a clean wallet install by sending the coins to me and send back, and try reinstalling everything (including wallet), I'd be happy to give it a try. Again, it's just a guess, but possibly it's picking up something from the previous chain. Or if you have another machine you could try this on.

I've only just installed the new wallet myself. Haven't rebooted to see if I have the same problem.

I guess I could try it on the mining rig I am building. Otherwise if you reboot without issue I can send them your way.

So would I delete everything in the folders and appdata?

Yeah, I'm saying install the new wallet on another machine, send all your coins to it, delete everything on current machine, and do a clean re-install and then send them back. Backup your wallet.dat of course.

Sounds good, thanks! I imagine I'll have a new wallet address correct?
This will fix your problem, but also starting QT from the command line and adding the -reindex flag will also repair. Also, once all of the nodes are running the new update, that will also fix it.

Sorry for the delayed reply, I'm busy at work today.

Following on Twitter @pyramusx
Even after leaving the qt on, after update, I still can't mine anything. I really should have invested in an block erupter long ago. Premine might be giving the push to finally do it though

Probably they are valid only on second blockchain. Thanks anyway Cool

I think the current logo looks great when displayed big.

But for a small icon, it's not recognizable. There should be another version with just 'PMC' for example, with the same blue background.

I like the current logo, it is very nice. It just doesn't seem to scale very well.

Logo competition time? I have Premine I can use, of course.

Current logo isn't bad but like ecuamobi said there is need of something more recognizable.
Probably I'm wrong but if someone (more good than me like designer) get us other logo version we could vote the best...keeping in the contest also the current one.

Ok ok I'm not a graphic but now, in a moment of free time, I've done this logo.

I know that there is just another but something more stylized could be better(in my opinion).

obviously take it like an idea and not an official suggestion

You are somewhat right that the current logo lacks recognizability (is that a word?). Especially when it's small and low res, like in the current QT wallet. There is no instant recognition. So a logo that does have that would maybe be better. I don't really like your suggestions though (nothing personal Wink ).

How dare you ? ahahah Cheesy

I repeat that my logo is only an input, I have spent about 3 minutes to make it(more for open fireworks Cheesy) and I know that isn't a great design.
