is there any node we needed to add for new wallet to sync?

I hardcoded a dynamic DNS seed into the wallet. No need to add nodes to wallet anymore (or use .conf for that matter).
The .conf is still useful if you want to set a reserve stake amount and also to set server=1 though.

Very Interesting i am in

Hi Viksa,
we would be happy to have you aboard but you will need to get yourself 20 posts before the end of the month  Wink
We are keeping an eye open for sockpuppets so do try to keep your posts contributing, not just "great!" or other one word replies.

Is the giveaway still running?

The giveaway is "running" for the next 6 months.
Each month we will give out 16% proportional to the amount of people who have signed up.
You still have 3 weeks to get your applications in for the giveaway.
Giveaway's will happen every month on the 1st.

I want to know the difference between a PMP and PMC, and I have PM @ PMPgiveaway, I want to know what time can I add to the list

The original PMC was a PoW Sha256 coin that didn't really have any innovative features other than its distribution. PMP is an entirely PoS coin with a unique distribution and unique features being implemented. I've got someone else helping with the list today.
Thanks for your patience everyone!

must I have PMC already?

No, you don't need PMC to get PMP. If you have PMC (or if you want to buy PMC) you can go to the PMC -> PMP Swap thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7503545

If you don't have PMC you apply for your stake in the PMP giveaway thread here. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7632858

I've sent a pm with my address a few days ago, yet I'm still not on the list. What's wrong, dev?

I'm not the dev but read the last lines from Post No. 107 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7716009

There are many applicants ... the team is working through them nobody will be missed on the list before the first giveaway is sent out.

Sweet! I'm on the list  Grin
Thanks a lot guys!
So if I understand correctly, there will be a max of ~1,000,000 PMP?
I think it's a good idea that you're spreading distribution over a long period of time as it'll provide some protection against people dumping en masse once we're on the exchanges.
This should be a fun ride  Cool

Thanks, it makes sense to us as well.
Yes, we would like a nice round number of 1,000,000 PMP but we can't set the max coins value until we know how many PMC have been swapped.

I see that some people didn't enter their PMP addresses but their PMC-Addresses, why would you enter them into the swap document?

Edited the giveaway doc. Thanks for pointing those out.

count me , thx!

Glad to have you aboard!

We have a huge backlog of applicants. I'm getting someone to help with adding everyone to the giveaway list, they will be starting tomorrow.
Don't worry guys, you will all be added.

Seeing everyone so excited about this launch is very encouraging. Did the original PMC end up being a success? All I have to go on is clicking on "All" on this chart, going back to January. Why the price drop? https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_pmc

In terms of community involvement yes I would say so! Unfortunately the lead and only developer bailed on the project soon after launching due to personal reasons. The community did an excellent job of rallying behind it and building infrastructure. But without that central lead, that motivating force, it was doomed to fail. If no one is updating or adding to a coin, it is quickly left behind. We like what Premine stands for and have made it our mission to see it succeed.

We have plans now to ensure continued development and support. Luckily we will have a large bounty budget left over from the PMC swap that will ensure we have enough funding to do whatever the community wants to do, over time.

In fact in this scenario we wouldn't need main developers at all:

1. Community decides on feature or change to protocol.
2. Community decides what that feature is worth (for example 5000 PMP)
3. Bounty is posted for 5000 PMP
4. Any available developer sees bounty, completes it and publishes the update to the community
5. Developer acquires bounty funds and community moves on to next feature decision

On top of the bounty system, we've planned a system whereby residual income is earned to the PMP foundation which is then used to pay a monthly salary to a developer or team of developers.
This will ensure continued development and innovation, which in turn encourages increases in price.

This will not be an overnight success, but because of our careful approach to planning and dedication to fairness we are confident PreminePlus will be a lasting crypto in the community.
