Triode, you talk about avoiding suprnova... Why? Is it not good?

I'm indifferent to suprnova, but others in this thread have been looking for options outside of it.  I find zpool to be very easy to get into since it doesn't require registering an account or anything.  I also like the yiimp style interfaces, personally, so that's another plus for zpool for me.

Through some indirectly-related searching, I found another POLY pool... this one more mid-sized:  https://pool.coin-miners.info/site/mining .  From what I've seen in the past couple days, this pool seems to have a consistent hash in the 1.6 - 1.8 GH/s range putting it at about 4-6% of POLY'S network hash.  Based on that site's "pool" page, it anticipates mining a block about every 50 minutes or so.  The pool's fee is 1%, which isn't very sizable. I've mined a few fistfuls of POLY there since discovering it.

Anyway... so long as the pool one is mining at actually finds blocks regularly (if a person mines consistently and fees aren't substantially different between pools) one should expect to earn about the same on average no matter the pool.  So, this one should be a contender in helping distribute the hash among other pools (in addition to Zpool.ca and Cryptohub.online) if people are interested in making the chain more robust.

Also, if the pool operators aren't making an effort to get their pool listed in the OP, hopefully the thread-owner can add the links to these pools in the original post(?).
Good find!  I'm switching to that one as zpool is having some issues right now with poly payouts.  Says it's low on the coin, not sure why that's the case.  Hashrate on it right now is tanking hard though, so coin-miners looks like a good one to work with for now.

Good to know.  Always good to have hash spread out over several coins.

the crypto-bridge exchange GUI is not friendly  Sad Sad
waiting for another new exchange ,
when will start the POS or Masternode plan lol Grin

I love crypto-bridge UI, the problem there is no volume there.

Seems the volume is much higher there than it was on coinsmarkets, at least for POLY.

The price in 350-500 sat range right now, which I still think is very low. Especially considering the upcoming https://polyshield.online website, and more features and functionality there.

The existing PolyShield host/share shared MasterNodes will have an announcement shortly regarding the first payout.

There is a lot going on in the background for POLY, and with the listing on https://crypto-bridge.org the price is now moving to where it should be. Everything I can see is moving great to the right direction for the future that was initially thought of when POLY was launched.

I have other ideas for the future as well, and more things that will be added to PolyShield in the way of new services, etc.

For now, I agree that the net hash should maybe try to decentralize more. So anyone who has information for new pools, please post in the poly forums https://forum.polytimos.net, then once the pools are verified good and working I will add them to the ANN.

Also, I guess the pools that are on the ANN now aren't working great, so we'll have to discuss this soon as well.

Thank you all for your support, I believe you'll all be very happy with the future of our Polytimos. Smiley

Thanks for staying active and keeping us updated.  Thoughts on SMARTCASH as a candidate for PolyShield?  If you use long-term lockins and get a MN set up before 1/25, then you will get both MN reward for 30 days and the smartreward award after 30 days.  So a 1/25-2/25 SmartCash PolyShield node could be quite good.  I would consider giving 800-1000 SMART for it (collateral is 10000 SMART), depending on the specific terms.

why the nethash is so huge, the miners know that the price is 100 satoshi and not 1000 right?

People become crazy and are investing in everything..
You can make lot of shitcoins then dump them, people seems don't care about it.
They prefer to lose mostly of their money because they read how many become billionaires with cryptos.
Look at ICOs mostly are scam, but people invest anyway.
Even if polytimos has 1 satoshi value they prefer waste time and energy.

lol i think some newbies miners don't know that coinmarket add a zero, 1 billions satoshi for 1 btc and not 100m

awwww, thats even quite funny Wink but yeah, all starting miners/traders should know that 1BTC=100 000 000 SAT not 1 000 000 000 Wink so yeah price may look like:
1 POLY = 0,000001250 on coin market but the really
1 POLY = 0,00000125    = 125 SAT

That does not change a fact that actual price on CryptoBridge price is 450-500sat
You can forget about such a ridiculous price 1 POLY=125 SAT. It will not happen again.
In the first posts, the developer estimated his coins 1 POLY=2000 SAT. Now I see that the developer is a responsible person and does what he promised earlier.

...and thats true - I also think that this coil could be easily worth 2000 SAT and more, in fact this project has just started so theres bright future waiting for POLY  Cool
