Why so many ponzi's?

I hope you don't run.

I won't run. I also won't create any other sites. If people don't trust me then don't send anything, but watch to see if payouts go out. If they go out as scheduled then I can't steal anything, since it's sent. This is why there is a Paid link column for easy checking on the blockchain. Other sites don't seem to have that. It needs to be easy for users to monitor the game.

Ok guys I've triple checked the password this time! No errors.

The next round starts in a few hours. Don't forget this is the only game that includes random payout enabled when the line gets too long!

OP, I was the last to send 0.4, and now you send all the money on the pot to non playing wallet 19GdRFF2ASFuT4fVeCKoiANAvRXhLwNyCW
https://blockchain.info/tx/c56eef6f5051a937b60ad6ca9ba213b6e8d59be3ea548ccdcd073a8446bfc88e

WHY WHY WHY!

Please refund my money!!

That address is paying out. I explained the technical difficulty earlier in this thread. You can click on any of the links in the Paid column on PonziWOW.com to see the payments went out accurately. Add up the math and you'll see everything is there.

So OP, did I lose the 0.4 btc? Sad

The bank is carried forward to the next round.

Interesting concept.   I think you will get a lot of Ponzi hate though.

I'm still trying to understand why some people think dice sites ok and this isn't.   There is a massive logical disconnect there for me.

Thanks, yeah, people just think Ponzi=bad, but not if the Ponzi is telling people they may lose! Plus my site has a lottery mode where people away from the front of the line can get paid when enough people play.

There was a thread in this section that said "F** My Life I Just Lost 5 BTC" or something like that, and he wasn't talking about a Ponzi site. That's just the nature of gambling, but people win big too. Part of the appeal of gambling is sometimes the adrenaline rush that's possible. As long as people know what they're getting into I don't see any problems.

New 24 hours round on 24HoursPonzi.com from weeklyponzi creator has been just started! Dont miss the train!

Guys be careful on that 24hoursPonzi URL which has an 's' after it. My understanding is the site from the WeeklyPonzi operator was supposed to be 24hourPonzi with no 's', but now his site is offline from a technical issue so it's hard to check.

It currently says:

PONZI's are illegal, u scam people, u steal!
PONZI is not gambling, u can say that to the kids, there's no glambling when u decide to run away.

Playing online Poker in the U.S. is illegal too, but should it be?

The problem is many laws that exist are not there because they weigh morals. There are other reasons they are there (like control, special interest bribes etc.). Bitcoin allows people the freedom to decide for themselves.

You're saying I steal, but I haven't, and have no intention. It's true there are many immoral people trying to scam people, but that's not me. I could easily make a lot of money if I used my technical ability without morals. I don't do that, though, not because I might get caught, but because it's wrong and immoral. The trick is separating the moral from the immoral people. I understand being lumped into the latter group, though, because of the stigma surrounding Ponzi schemes (which are usually sold as "investing" not gambling, which is more accurate).

u run a ponzi, thats a big mistake  Wink

Why is it a mistake? I'm glad you're giving me the opportunity to talk about this as I've seen the anti-ponzi comments.

It's true that Ponzis are usually a very bad thing, but that's because people are tricked into buying something based on false promises. For example, those companies that say you can get rich if you invest a couple hundred dollars and make a few phone calls to friends and relatives. They conveniently forget to mention it's a lot of hard work, and you're sacrificing personal relationship ties. Most people won't make any such returns, but are stuck with an un-sellable box of products.

On the other hand this Ponzi trend is clearly in the GAMBLING section! It's not trying to hide any information. Read the FAQ at PonziWOW.com as it clearly states it's gambling and to play responsibly - the same message on popular Dice sites. So what's the difference?

Are you talking to me or GreenPonzi? All payments at PonziWOW are caught up. They can be seen on the blockchain by hovering/clicking over the Paid column 'YES' links on the site.

i hope the trust i just gave u will stop people sending u free money

What do you mean? Are you missing a payout? Please give me the details. As I said, I made an honest mistake, but it's resolved.

OP, why your wallet is holding the coins? I've sent $80, enough to pay all the people before me and the tx has more than 5 confirmations at the moment of writing this.

Is this a payout manually process or your script is automated?

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry. Here I am complaining and then I make a silly mistake myself - due to being security and anon cautious I set a problematic API password. Since the Round is active I couldn't change anything, so my workaround was reverting to my testing account address. I'm moving funds from the deposit address back to that address for auto payments. All is caught up now.
